I could see this as very useful for women from foreign countries who may not be as comfortable around men as they should be (due to biases in the home county), and need to improve their english skillz? that's just the first thing that pops into my head.

I've said this before, but isn't it the guy's employer's fault for bending like a noodle and firing the guy? the employer could have seen it for the trivial matter it was and done something far less severe. People can twitter whatever they want (to a point), it's the reactions that really matter

shouldn't it be the responsibility of the techie's company to have a backbone and not bend to the will of any tweeter who becomes offended? Ultimatley, it's the tech company that will have to act to make things right again..... no?
