If some stranger came up to me during the day, no matter how attractive they were, I’d have some serious reservations. Flip that around and it makes absolutely zero sense for me to go talk to a stranger in a random setting. I don’t care about guard being up at the bar because I usually don’t approach at the bar either although I think it’s acceptable. I’ve actually gotten better results being nice, but I was being genuinely nice while still being masculine/a leader. Being nice doesn’t mean that you are a pushover.
