I don't blindly want to believe anything, either from the police or from this guy's lawyer. I'm just commenting on how this all looks. The way the cops are handling him is fucked up and they're almost certainly targeting this kid, but he makes himself an easy target. He screamed at police (according to the warrant which is supposedly backed up by an audio recording), and walked into a police station with (allegedly) a cell phone full of texts to underage girls in his boxers. And if the court documents are accurate then he's definitely somewhat crazy. I'm rooting for the guy because of the way the police are handling this but based on what we know so far I don't think he's 100% innocent.
