I’m not single anymore but when I was I had 0 social media except LinkedIn. When girls are like ‘whats your Instagram’ I say something like ‘I’m one of those weirdos who doesn’t use social media so your gonna have to give up the phone number’ I don’t deal with social media at all and I guess the only thing it stops is meeting other ig people.

You good bro, just relax and don’t overthink it. If this makes you feel any better at all I can’t ride a bike and I’m same age as you 😂

I ask most girls what they found attractive about me after hookups or during dating. Almost every single one has said confidence and being able to hold a conversation, some have said intelligence and passion. I am short - so the tall thing will never apply to me lol, but I’m pretty convinced confidence is actually the #1 attractive quality for a man. All my friends who consistently get things they want are confident as hell, this extends to females also.

I literally was agreeing with you? Merely pointing out to OP that they probably have an addiction to the rush they feel from ease of getting laid.

It’s dopamine addiction not time management. If you could make money by swiping on an app, you would. When you swipe, get laid and it’s easy it can become addictive. Finding a balance with anything that gives you a rush can be difficult. I don’t think deleting dating apps is the solution, but rather learning to control your impulses.

It’s all your mindset man. I recently started a new job and one of my coworkers who is 24, asian, and nerdy as hell absolutely slays girls. White girls especially. He uses his shyness, intelligence and quirkiness to his advantage and fucks more than anyone else in our work circle. Don’t worry about what a girl has done with her exes, in fact don’t even worry if they had exes. Never bring that shit up and just focus on what you want. As someone who is success oriented you might always be comparin…

Honestly I’ve never really had a problem with women so it doesn’t bother me too much. None of my partners have cared and asides from an occasional shit test I don’t really think about it. in the middle of divorcing right now and was really self conscious for a bit.. but bounced back no problems lol. I guess just knowing you can’t change it is the most calming factor. Also there are a ton of super short ultra successful people - it’s legit all in your head. Zuckerburg and Bezos are both like 5’7.…

Idk man it works for me 🙈. Ymmv. Depends on age group and city too maybe. I’ve never had a problem with online dating but I live in a big add city Times have also changed, 5 years ago everyone took selfies but they are less popular now

Another great one is board game cafes but you gotta be able to make 1v1 really fun

I answered 3 in a separate comment. I am honest about everything up front, but only in person and when the conversation naturally flows that way. I am in the middle of a divorce and it’s something I used to avoid talking about with women. Also other insecurities that might make me act a certain way - putting them out in the open makes it easier for people to understand you. Investing, telling your boss you want way more money, outdoor rock climbing, solo travel, changing careers (I’ve had 3 and …

I like like free art galleries / exhibits (I hate art). It’s just a good way to walk around and talk without sitting down for an interview style date. This is honestly my favourite. Same with any sort of public market or event where you might want to go anyway Arcade is fun too, lots of chances for physical touching This one isn’t for everyone but city hikes/walks are awesome.

Read through some replies and dude... I am a 28 year old coder. I’m 5’6, don’t even make 6 figures like most of my fellow nerd friends and play a shitload of games that no one has heard of. I listen to weird music, don’t like eating out / drinking and have a TINY social circle. I’m not swimming in girls, but I have never had a dry spell that wasn’t self-induced longer than a couple months. With that said I love what your post is actually about - none of that shit mattering, because it’s pretty t…

In Asia things are real different and it gets old real quick. I lived in Asia for over a year and internet dating was a joke, it makes your game worse being there because literally being white is like +9000 to your power level. Women in Big cities have high ass expectations because the pool is huge - get your most ideal female friend to fix your profile pics for you
/r/seduction06/05/19 01:49 AM

Get hinge and get a female friend to fix your pics. Had my close female friend do this and I had around 100 matches across two apps in 2 weeks. I’m also short af and tossed it in my profile and still got matches. What you think are good photos /profile are probably shit to regular users of those apps. You don’t need fancy clothes or fancy places, just solid pics

I love your list! I have had such good success with online dating over my life and I think this sums up a lot of things you only learn by experience. Replacing drinks for the first date would be the only thing I would change for myself (personal preference).

Well I mean you can do other shit, arcades are fun, interesting parks, new activities you both haven’t done, walking along the lake/city trails. Essentially any activity where you don’t have to ask them a million questions to keep conversation going. You can worry about if she works at timmies after you get laid

Just not my style - to each their own but I prefer not to let alcohol be involved at all. I also don’t like to spend money on drinking and eating out if I can avoid. I probably wouldn’t do coffee either, unless it was at my apartment lol. Just going somewhere and talking is enough fun for me most of the time - but I live in a great city with lots of shit It can be fun .. but doing that a bunch gets shitty for your body real quick. Could just be me though- ymmv

See my below reply to another guy - free art gallery. Since I do a ton of online dating and I try not to eat junk food / drink often I personally prefer stuff where I don’t have to do this, or have to pay for something I don’t even want. Something about the art gallery that is great is you can kinda test her to see how cool she is - like walk away and start talking to strangers and see if she can handle being alone or if she follows, make jokes about the nude art and see if she has a good sense …

I do most of my dating online (60-70%) these days because I don’t like mucking up my social circle My go to is a free art gallery that’s a 15 minute walk from my apartment. I go there, usually walk along the lake a bit, then grab some food and go back to mine for the close attempt (if it’s going well).

Stop being needy, stop telling her you want her to commit. Don’t be insecure and think that she’s texting other guys, and if she is who cares? Don’t text her all the time. When you hang out with her be on your A game. When you have sex make sure she finishes. Make her think ‘wow this guys been acting so differently, I wonder what’s changed’

An evening a week is plenty of time imo. I guess depends on your age and needs. No I’m saying you literally can’t force it, if you want her to fall in love with you stop pressuring her to commit and make her want to commit. Make her feel like she wants you instead of you worrying about who she’s texting and you wanting to hang out all the time.

What’s wrong with an evening a week? What would you need her to do to commit to you? Hate to say it but you can’t force it man

Your age isn’t a problem. My dad is a short fat dude without a fancy job and he remarried way out of his league when he was 58 and had me at 65. There is nothing stopping you but probably your outlook and attitude on the whole thing. I have a question for OP, do you have a lot of long lasting friendships/relationships that aren’t work related? (Or PUA related)

I always just mirror the girl and how she likes to interact. Unless it’s every 2 minutes in which case I get worried lol. Texting sucks - I stick to the phone when I want to talk, although since I don’t have social media I do enjoy sending funny memes and pics of random shit I do when I have time

This. I'm guessing its the vibe as well. I'm a shorty and it kinda sucks but it really hasn't hindered me at all, although I used to think it did the second I got that out of my head it stopped making a difference. OP doesn't seem like this bothers him though. The fact that you have everything like tracked is cool, but also kinda bleh. I know this is seddit but really I think you should figure out why your doing this. Is it to get laid? Find a long term partner? Date different women to figure …

I totally disagree wtf lol. Random dude approaches your set and you peace? If it wasn’t going well that’s one thing but you should def not give up if your interested. The mere presence of someone else shouldn’t deter you.

Man up dude. The struggle is real I won’t lie, but it doesn’t change that much. I am 5’6 and I’ve felt like this so much, but its only ever been a barrier if I made it a barrier. I overcame by just going solo more and approaching girls in less hormonal driven situations. I steered clear of bars and clubs and focused on approaching girls at events/activities that I regularly do. Online dating also has been extremely good for me since I work a shitload. The reality is though, bars and clubs are ac…

Bro maybe your more interesting than you think, and also it could be a breath of fresh air for a girl who presumably gets a lot of attention to be around someone more reserved.

I think thats a total shit test, I mean she said "You don't get girls" after you telling her you hooked up with someone, and then shes saying that you could do better and you look gay? Shes essentially saying man up, you should lighten up a bit dude "Why do you say that?" Maybe instead be a little more playful - like literally anything "Oh you think your hotter?" "Yeah probably, but she did some crazy shit" "Savage, I was just messing with you, <insert name here> was way hotter" Also, no idea …

Haha really? I usually just spit nonsense about something or tease them about their profile - pretty decent success but ymmv. Not sure what you mean by true colors - they just grils looking for the same thing your looking for

Honestly, it comes down to confidence my man. I am 5'6 and I envy the shit out my tall friends. The gym and all that shit are important, but really its just your confidence. I'm guessing if I had your height I would literally do nothing different than I currently do because it only matters if you make it matter. Being tall doesn't auto make you successful with women, but it definitely will help. Figure out where your problem is and work on that, it likely has nothing to do with your physical app…

Its tough for sure, and could be a complete waste of time, but also could be awesome - i remember I actually dated someone with literally nothing on their profile many years ago... but she initiated and she was just shy. I guess it depends on your style but you can still come up with some decent openers lol

Life is tough my dude.. I have been there, going through different friend groups and girlfriends. Are you the type of person who almost always turns down hangouts? I did this for almost 3 years, neglecting all my friends and just burying my head in work. Coming out of that I now try my hardest to see a friend weekly and not turn down hangouts, as well as reach out and make the plans.

Do shit your interested in, don’t force it. If your not interested in anything than do some travelling or soul searching. You can’t force social stuff without it being completely fake. CrossFit is great but like... do you love it? Trying new things doesn’t hurt but don’t join stuff with the expectation of making friends, join groups because your interested and the social stuff will come naturally. I don’t think social proof is that important tbh, just confidence is good. The getting hard thing i…

It’s super shitty but it’s her trying to control the situation while she figures out what she wants. Pursue whoever your talking to now and tell her you need a break to see other people and decide if this is what you want. Assuming you want to do that, if you really want to get back together and she’s insisting on a break then you play her game.. one summer won’t kill you. Breaks don’t really work for most people but you never know. I personally would just move on and learn from whatever ‘mistak…

I disagree with everyones post about "if she was your girlfriend, how would you feel about this". The fact is we don't treat everyone the same. Some people get into relationships purely out of insecurity of being alone, and it doesn't even mean they actually really like that person. Going further - she might really like you more than anyone she has met up to this point. A relationship is a two way street, and its very easy to judge her for flirting depending on how you view this girl in your hea…
