I'd say the other major point missing from your argument about high value men like Pitt, Clooney, McGregor, etc. is that those celebrities are known around the world, and have preselection by the bucketfuls. Even if I have strength, good looks, money, and am mentally sharp, it is still nearly impossible for me to put in the same amount of effort and get the same quality and quantity of women as they can. So the points that I have for myself being a high value man aren't even the same as what ano…

Thanks for the kind debate! I think the problem is with each item on the list being assigned equal value. For men: She's dumb as a box of rocks, psycho, broke as shit, is a druggie, and has a terrible personality, but she's hot so I'll still fuck her but I just won't make her a long term thing. Unfortunately, this happens a lot and results in unwanted pregnancies and ultimately shitty lives for the kid and for the man. For women: He looks good, but can't form a coherent sentence, is broke and go…

Seeing yourself as the prize and actually becoming the prize is definitely how we should live our lives. Therein lies the problem for most folks, it takes both

I'm not disagreeing with you that we are the prize, but I don't think this is the proper way to look at it. By this logic alone, 20 ford fiestas would be better than 1 Bugatti. The issue isn't the amount, it's how desired the product is. A hot girl with nothing else going for her gets many, MANY times more open desire than all but the top 0.01% of men. In fact, the bottom 80% of men often won't even get the time of day from an average girl. One big difference is that women have their greatest at…

You have no fucking clue what this sub is about. If you did, you wouldn't have come here 1 week in, looking for advice, you would have not gotten married. Christ...

The fuck is this guy? Going your own way and making yourself awesome before banging as many women as you want is "more beta" than being a pussy whipped shell of a man? You're in the wrong sub, faggot.

I have two kids, and they are way better off since their mother and I split. Extenuating circumstances? I stayed with my wife for an extra year and a half because sure was battling breast cancer, and I have amazing insurance. Throughout that process, feelings ebbed and flowed between us, but at the end of the day she would never respect me fully because I took her back after sure slept with someone else. Once she was good, I left, but not before I turned myself back into a man of value. Took me …

Put a rubber band/electrical tape on the kitchen sink sprayer so when she turns on the sink she gets sprayed. When you're in the car and she's walking to it, ask her to check to see if there's fluid leaking under the engine, and honk the horn when she gets down low. Toy snakes and fishing line inside the house. We have a big purple suction-cup dildo my little sister gave to us as a joke, and I'll put it places like the hood of her car, above her side of the bed on the headboard, etc. Airhorns: y…

You have the power and the resources to change your situation. Just do it. Even if it means sacrificing everything.

She wants you to fuck her in the ass because she's on her period, but she's somehow pregnant?

Maybe I'm the only one taking a different but positive takeaway from this? When I get a hard no, sure, I can go lift for the 3rd time that day. Or, rather than working out past the point of diminishing returns, I can still remove my presence from the Household-6 and do some fun projects around the house that improve my foxhole. I don't see anywhere where OP is suggesting that you do these things for your wife, but instead I see it as a list of things that occupy your time, improve your skill set…

Ever heard the phrase "Don't put all your eggs in one basket"? Eat the bear or be eaten by the bear, it's your choice. But you don't live with a wild bear as your equal because you're going to get fucked. Which is probably what you should be doing until you read the sidebar.

Thanks, Johnny. I definitely didn't get back on my horse without the help of others, so I hope by sharing my story I can help others get past some similar rough times with a smile on their faces. And I hope you're past whatever malady is/was giving you trouble. If not, PM me if you need help.

Thanks, man. In this particular instance, we were both in good moods, having kind of a goofy conversation, and she had offhandedly mentioned that I was going to have to do some extra things for her because she had cancer. Still keeping things light-hearted, I told her that cancer wasn’t changing anything in our relationship, that I’d take care of her, but she’d still have to pull her weight when she was able. That particular conversation continued to be light-hearted, but she knew where I stood …

Read. Not just sidebar stuff, either. Read about the Rhodesian Bush War, read books on leadership, building better habits, negotiations, dealing with people, military strategy, stoicism, etc. Start reading and don't stop. Then talk with people about the books.

No, you don't. Every response of yours basically starts with "but..." Followed by an excuse why you're not going to listen to the advice Leave your "minority community" where everyone is a prude. You don't have to stay there. Make new friends, go different places. Give up on life for all I care

Fucking Christ, man, do you actually want legitimate advice, or do you want other people to just reinforce your pathetic, pussy-ass decision making? Stop making excuses. Shut the fuck up, read the sidebar, and listen to what these people are telling you, otherwise get the hell out of here.

I hope I get the pleasure of working with your son someday, I've had a lot of awesome experiences with both Rangers and Infantry grunts. Talk about some guys who know how to embrace the suck! Thanks for taking the time to write this, it resonates, and your analogies are on point. But on the inside, where only your wife knows you well, you’re.....lacking. True. I'd like to get back to you sometime next year with an update after completing the sidebar a time or two. Thanks again man, i'm getting b…

Yes, she's moving back in January. in 2015 she moved out to be separated. This July, however, she took a 6 month job in FL with the intent of moving back and moving forward with the marriage. Things are a lot better than they were a year ago, but since starting the RP journey, I realized that I wasn't where I needed to be as a leader in my family.

Developing abundance mentality is separate and additive to dread. copy all. Are you owning your shit as a dad? Before treatment, kinda. After treatment yes. Wife noticed on the last trip that I only had to snap my fingers and the girls came quietly toward me. you need to max out your direct sphere of influence. copy, makes sense. Strange dick after separation? It happened, i found out about it, and as a result I completely cut her off socially and financially, and immediately started fucking oth…

honest clarification: is there a difference between being flirtatious because I'm a fun person to be around, and active dread level 8? I'm comfortable asking for phone numbers by myself (always delete them afterward), but I wouldn't be comfortable being that bold in front of my wife. I've done light kino on other women and the like in front of her, although there wasn't much of a jealousy reaction from the wife. Maybe I was too obvious? Good feedback, I appreciate it

Good clarifying questions, thanks. I got a Stellate Ganglion Block to reset my parasympathetic nervous system, and I'm continuing to see my psych doc regularly for exercises and check ins. Also started spending more time with a RP guy I look up to to bounce off ideas and philosophies. the SGB was a game changer that let me get my head above water, and I'm way better off now. Nothing bothers me, which is how i used to be naturally. I have my kids with me in NC, since i was able to take a non-depl…

Or maybe they just like sex and gaining different experiences by having numerous partners, thus figuring out what they like best. You seem to have a pretty negative attitude toward someone who's actively trying to make himself as outwardly attractive as he is on the inside, which is kinda messed up, if I'm reading your comments correctly. I thought the purpose of this sub was for encouragement and self improvement, which I've seen from OP. It's cool to see. And for the record, negging doesn't eq…

I agree, 3 hours away makes for terrible logistics, and it seems like a shield, as you put it. Over the last 5 months or so, I've been making the transition from online dating apps to cold approaches, and my confidence and references have gone up considerably. Not to mention you don't have to deal with the whole, "wow, I guess your profile picture was taken about 20 pound ago."

Haha, this is funny because I used to do the exact same thing, specifically with Plenty Of Fish, because you can change your zip code and chat up girls before you arrive at that location. I travel a lot for work, so I thought that I could get to know these women beforehand, so when I showed up they would feel like they already knew me and we could move forward to being sexual. I failed every single time. Now, I'm no professional pickup artist, but I'm not bad, and still learning from every inter…

How did you meet her? From the start, texting should be used only as a means to meet her in person. That's it. I've heard several people say this, most recently Tyler from RSD, but texting is like walking through a landmine field. Text as little as possible, and only in order to meet the girl in person. Your flirtatious texts will be misunderstood, and you're gonna come across as creepy, narcissistic, weird, etc. Don't. Do. A. Dinner. Date. Not for a first date, anyways. It's awkward. A lot of w…
