He wrote this: Well, the distinction between sex and sex role is a useful one, because there are indeed cultures which have more than two sex roles - see India's hijras and Thailand's kathoeys. 1	Gender He is assuming that the sex one is born always results in the gender, or social behavior, associated with that sex. That's just completely false. He is taking what he calls "the left's theory that gender is 100% a social construct" and flipping to the exact opposite extreme and saying that the way one behaves is 100% based on biological sex.
