4	I am part of a feminist organization and our next meeting (this upcoming Monday) is about MRAs and their movement. MRAs also HEAVILY support free speech, due to how difficult it is to discuss male issues in certain environments, like colleges. This cannot be ignored. 1	The onus is on men who would never dream of raping to prevent rape, while the women who drink to unconsciousness are absolved of any responsibility for their own safety. Got it. Fair enough. Here's a better one. Say that the other driver is intoxicated and speeding like a madman, and you don't recheck the road because you checked 5 seconds ago and nobody was there, and that light you saw in the distance 5 seconds ago ABSOLUTELY isn't going 130mph. Could you imagine if this mentality was applied to other things? Like driving? "Don't bother looking before shifting a lane on a highway. You have every right to just go, provided you have your turn signal on and wait 5 seconds. Though the political persuasion of the people who perpetuate those ideas tend to be left-leaning, to call it a PRODUCT of the left and liberal ideas is a bit of a stretch/a case of correlation vs. causation, IMO. I'm aware that's nitpicking, but whatever. And again, I want to stress that leftist, liberal, progressive, conservative, right-leaning, whatever does NOT make something good or bad. Both sides can be as delusional as the other side, they are just delusional about different things - Secret white male cabals meeting to decide how to best impoverish women and brown people is as ridiculous as, say, the idea that if we just wish it hard enough, a guy who died two thousand years ago will...I dunno, make sure Mitt Romney gets elected or something.
