There are movements that want the US to be taken back to being a colony of the UK, but that's not my point. There are a large number of groups that are reactionary. I guess as for independence, I guess it would be a matter of interpretation. I upvoted your comment because you gave me some good food for thought,

I would even dare to say 'back lash' and 'reactionary' could be used interchangeably. My beliefs (disclaimer...I'm a skeptic, which means my opinions change often, only because I am passionate about seeking truth)...My beliefs currently state any kind of human movement is reactionary, or a backlash..I can't think of any other reason why it wouldn't be.

Only if there is genuine doubt. Then again why would you have unprotected sex with a woman who sleeps around anyway? As a father I believe children ought to be made from love not just 'sex'.

My mother in law is like this too. She boasts how she never needs a man in her life because she is an independent gurrrl, however got back with her abusive ex because (and she admitted) she's in major debt and needs help.
