Lmao nice subject change my guy, I appreciate you trying to escape the hole you were digging for yourself there with your shit tier math and wonky science. Also, what are you referring to here? “A gender meant for a few minorities”- are you talking about trans people? Who’s trying to turn that into a widely used gender? You can’t force somebody to be trans

Because the genders had already been in use, and there was no point in turning a gender meant for a few genders in gender into the widely used gender, since it would just fuck genders up?

Because the Gregorian had already been in use, and there was no point in turning a calendar meant for a few churches in Europe into the widely used one, since it would just fuck things up

It’s not 10 times more precise. The Revised Julian calendar is definitely more precise, but the time difference between the Revised Julian and the Gregorian is only 25 seconds. And the reason we don’t use the RJC is because it was originally meant for the Greek Orthodox Church, and wasn’t even created for public use

But we’re still accounting for the .2421891 by adding another day during leap years. You can’t account for a quarter of a day unless you wait every four years and make it into an entire day and add it into the calendar, which is what a leap year is. So we’re rounding down to 365 for the sake of simplicity, but we aren’t simply throwing away the rest of the number like you’re suggesting

A solar year is defined as the time taken by Earth to complete one revolution around the sun. This solar year as stated in the calendar is taken to be 365 every year for the sake of simplicity. The time taken by Earth to complete one complete revolution is 365.2421891 days, almost an extra quarter of a day. Our calendar doesn't account for that quarter of the day every year but accounts for the lost time every four years and calls it leap year. To do so, we delay the month of March by one day af…

Dog years are calculated different than human years because dogs mature differently than humans do. One human year isn’t 7 dog years, it’s different for each breed, you can look it up online; they use math to calculate it. And I can’t believe I have to explain this to you, but when you multiplied 365 by 5, you got different answers because you rounded down. .256 x 5 = 1.28. 1.28+365= 1826.28. s i m p l e a d d i t i o n

The earth rotates around the sun every 365.256 days, which isn’t a social construct, it’s just math. And dog years are calculated based on maturity and breed, which is...also math. Neither of these examples are social constructs in any way

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
