The Revised Julian calendar is definitely more precise, but the time difference between the Revised Julian and the Gregorian is only 25 seconds. You can’t account for a quarter of a day unless you wait every four years and make it into an entire day and add it into the calendar, which is what a leap year is. The time taken by Earth to complete one complete revolution is 365.2421891 days, almost an extra quarter of a day. Our calendar doesn't account for that quarter of the day every year but accounts for the lost time every four years and calls it leap year. One human year isn’t 7 dog years, it’s different for each breed, you can look it up online; they use math to calculate it.
