You are 100% on point, coming from another woman who divorced her husband who “never cheated… etc” but was also emotionally abusive and left me so alone in that marriage. If she’s the one who instigated the separation and divorce, she was mentally and emotionally separated long before. And OP didn’t work to change until she was gone, it seems like.
