It’s an incomplete dataset that fails to account a lot of factors that would lead to that potentially being a result of crime stats. First, what stat is it? Is that based on convictions, arrests, police reports? The data source is important. Even if it’s accurate data, you’ve got decades of law that skews toward a higher impact on minorities.
