1	Found this online, thought I'd share As I've read this in a lot of different places and don't have it saved, I can only tell you what I remember. It usually takes about 10 years. Teachers is an example: in Sweden during the 80s it was dominated by men, as read on SCB. In a lot of jobs, when they've been dominated by women, have a lower wage. But some have later on switched to be dominated by men and then there has also been a switch in wages. This can go both directions. From that analysis, one could make the more accurate conclusion that women don't choose low paying jobs, but that in many cases, when more women start dominating one, the wages go down. Assuming you mean foreskin removal, it's a mostly religious procedure, however it can also be due to problems. The complications are, as far as I am aware, painful. Now, I think it is pretty obvious that phrase means to not teach anything at all (because everything is good already?), or, to teach the opposite (what I originally wrote). But by not pointing out and teaching people about how certain behaviours are bad, we indirectly say they're good.
