My impression is that the lack of single presidents is more a matter of age. Except Obama, there has not been a president younger than the country of India. Men born in the 40s had way higher marriage rates. We do know people are biased towards married men, but the presidency is not the place to demonstrate such a bias. It has many very ridiculous criteria like being born in the right decade, living in the right state, and imo insanity to be willing to pretty much permanently give up your entire…

I think you’re probably right. I think life is more segregated after high school than during it. But also it forces you to have more interactions. So I think what I was actually talking about is about volume of interactions. So I think the real question for men is how do you get a high enough volume of irl interaction with women to develop good sociosexual skills. Do you have any idea how that can actually happen though? It seems like it would be kind of impossible. But it probably is possible.

My perception is that social skills in general are very easily learnable, but “sociosexual skills” aren’t. This is to say I feel like it’s much easier to learn how to make a platonic friend or sell something than it is to learn to flirt. My perception is that flirting and sex and such are a lot harder to learn and tend to require being in a mixed sex pubescent environment. I feel like part of it might be that society is generally sex segregated and the easiest social opportunities are sex segreg…

So is all of this just about whether you get upper twenties or not? In other words why are the 30s better? Does this mean for such people their outcomes are equal after the age of 30?

This is interesting. Do you extend this idea to saying that if someone is an abnormal stage of life for their age, then age gaps could work and be bigger? Say an unemployed 30yo trying to get their first real job or something like that.

I mean if you really want to date 20yos that's your choice. I don't think you even need self improvement for that. Most men your age don't date 20yos of their own will.

Survivorship bias. The people who treat the opposite sex (or same sex) as people manage to get relationships so they don't talk about relationships online. Only the people with the worst strategies possible of forming relationships keep posting.

Yeah I do realize it. That’s why I’m going to therapy for it. Yeah I think your position is probably the right one. And I’m doing a lot better on that than on some kind of arbitrary count idea.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/11/23 02:39 AM

Tbh at least for me personally the appeal is more about making them feel comfortable then being irresistible, but I get what you're saying. My general impression is that also getting started early and being a "chad" in high school and to a lesser extent college really positively reflects on you in ways nothing else really does. Do you think there's a more significant lifestyle indicator too?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/11/23 01:18 AM

I always thought that people were more selective in high school due to there being more social consequences to who you fucked then vs after. Does this play a role? I generally believe you and think you’re onto something.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/11/23 12:22 AM

Really? You mean women are less selective in high school and college or virgins are less selective or both?

So do you think in practice it actually is the biggest indicator of success you can have in your life? Because everything after can’t demonstrate things as much since it doesn’t have these specific conditions? But after high school taking virginities doesn’t matter.

I think you're right on this. So this means that getting girls to fuck you is a lot more status based too relative to later? What do you mean about the competition being clear? How does that affect things?

Why do you consider it to be the case in high school but not later? What changes? Is it just less virgins or is there something more?

they find something that worked with a previous partner and insist on using it with a new partner, despite the new partner saying it doesn't work for them. Having a one size fits all approach to pleasure. getting defensive when a partner wants to give guidance and help with what gives them pleasure I forgot men did all these things. Yeah there's more than I thought to go wrong that way.

People can help you understand your body better. For example, I went to therapy for a hypertonic pelvic floor and it cured my anorgasmia.

I think the only reason is that he wants to be helpful and help them understand their bodies more.

Definitely that is the goal of sex, but idk if it reflects much on the participants. Isn't that a really easy thing to do?

But if you need a metric I agree with the other poster, if you have sex with people you enjoy having sex with that's the greatest achievement. Realistically that involves communicating well and finding someone else who can communicate well, being open to discussions and trying new things etc. lots of people fail at this so it's probably a pretty good achievement if you manage it. That's interesting. What are common ways people fail at this that can be used as markers for what to avoid?

Why would anyone think all probing was pleasurable? You have to ask the person what they like and do more of it. Anyways wouldn't it still be harder for someone who does not know what they like to give them a good experience?

He told me and then later I ended up seeing it in a non-sexual context

Sleeping with a bunch of people who’ve never had sex and can’t rate you on performance isn’t proving anything. Sleeping with someone experienced and pleasuring them would be a bigger accomplishment. Isn't it generally easier to pleasure experienced people though? Inexperienced people are less in touch with their bodies so they need to be guided a bit more and you need to be more careful for them not to feel uncomfortable.

I never had sex with them so I am unsure but they have a nine-inch penis and seem charismatic at least

Yeah not so much the world but the person will know and be sexually confident because of it

In reality virgins are more discerning with their first time though, compared to subsequent times where they are more up to take a risk for a bad time. Well that is what the guy I admire who took 11 virginities said at least.

You aren’t doing a service to society by fucking virgins. But you are introducing people to sex so isn't that a good thing? Helping them be more confident in their bodies, etc.

Not sure about that. I feel like you need to prove something
