The government has no place in marriage. It only complicates issues like gay marriage and divorce proceedings. Marriage attitude be a personal commitment between two people. If they want to bring legal docs into it, they can get a lawyer to write up a standard contract.

idk wtf you think you're talking about. What's being said, however, is an inflated statistic with the purpose of normalizing the assumption that an huge percentage of the male populations have or will commit sexual assault. In what world is a blanket stat of 5% something to celebrate? "Hey guys! There's only a 5% chance this random dude is going to sexually assault me."

I find it interesting that jaimie is regarded more distastefully than his murderous sister. I, too, found the scene much more uncomfortable to watch than any of cercei's atrocities. It's like we are intrinsically designed to revile rape more than murder.

To be sure, if a woman's rates were higher, there would plenty of people claiming sexism, but I don't believe that is the case. There is too much data, and too much competition to make 'charge him more for having a penis' seem like a feasible business model. The reasoning may incorporate more than simply driving record, but I can almost guarantee you it's just a function revolving around potential cost vs. potential return.

While I am aware of many instances of reverse sexism as you call it, this is not one. The insurance are entirely profit motivated, so their decision is based purely on statistics and not prejudice. If it cost more to ensure a man, it's because a man is more likely to cost the company money. I would discourage using this argument as an example of MRA.

It's actually a horrible argument. The premise is that a fetus has no sentience until a certain point and thus is nothing more than a well formed tumor. I'm not an advocate for or against abortion, but I've always thought a lot of the arguments supporting abortion are just a cop-out that everyone goes along with.
