While they constantly demand you change and alter your life and yourself for them. Change and they lose respect and monkey branch elsewhere, don’t change and they despise you and ramp up their efforts until you change or they eventually give up, accuse you of not caring or loving them, and cheat or move on elsewhere. Either way you lose. There is no point in caring or paying attention. They have no idea what they want or who they are.

To me the emotional and psychological abuse is FAR more damaging than the physical. Yet, we have no laws or rules or even political discussion as to the damage this causes. Women, having less physical stature, have evolved to specializing in these non-physical abuses and most have mastered it. These should be crimes worthy of prosecution as the wounds often never heal yet society has not come up with any answers beyond sucking it up, drinking/pharmaceuticals, or therapy.
