I mean...social media is inherently reliant on other people. If no one else were participating then of course no one would try. Imagine if everyone suddenly renounced baseball. Even if you were an avid player, you would have no one to play with so you wouldn't be able to do it. Doesn't mean you don't enjoy it.

I really don't agree with you. What about all those mothers and fathers that would give their lives for their children? What is that? I'm sure many spouses would do the same for their SO.

What's your point then?

Well the twist at the end of the episode was that everyone in that universe was actually a digital form of a person who signed up for a dating website, so presumably there wouldn't be any MGTOWs in that world.

I'm not going to spend my time asking people what love means to them. How about you try actually explaining your point instead of leaving me with a mystic quest which would lead to completely subjective results?

What makes you think that women don't enjoy "social media trash"? Based on your comment, it seems like you haven't talked to a lot of women. I, too, could draw the same conclusion about men lacking the ability to enjoy anything were I to base my theory upon the men in, for example, /r/mgtow. You must have an awfully self-centric perspective on life if you genuinely believe that 50% of the population can't experience pure joy.

How can anyone provide a counterpoint if you haven't made a point in the first place? Congratulations, you think that women only like men for the status that they give them. What exactly do you have to prove that theory other than your own warped thoughts and feelings?

Really? In my experience I've found that men generally are much less passionate about their interests than most women I've met, but perhaps their interests lie in some separate place that they don't wish to bring up with me. I'd wager that the same goes for the women you're talking about.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
