Mine too. Worked for a large, now defunct electronics retailer. Said wives weren't invited on corporate trips (they were). He banged hookers and strippers. Suspicions were confirmed years later when an ex coworker of his (he hated my husband) hired me to work for his company.

My guy is a RP kind of guy. I've been lurking this sub for tips. Definitely cooking him supper daily and rubbing his feet keeps him happy. His love language is acts of service. Not my preferred language, but having my brakes changed, the leaky roof fixed, and a new TV is nice! He is definitely Captain material. Thank you ladies for the encouraging ideas.

It sounds that you take things to heart. I too am very sensitive to what my family and friends say. And it does hurt. However I continue to live my best life on my terms. Just do you and anyone who is against you needs to change the subject or get lost.

I am a feminist who believes that we should encourage women to follow what's best for them. SAHM, homemaker mom, great! Workforce women, great! Bad feminists tell women what they should do and that's not okay. I feel we should be allies with all our sisters. We should stop focusing on the differences and be more uplifting.

What about doing a picnic date? You could make a good meal and eat at a nice park. Enjoy the scenery and avoid the awkwardness being at a house (yikes, never get pressured into sex).

Perhaps he's depressed? Big changes in anyone's life (and identity) can cause depression. Perhaps a counselor can help him individually sort through this change and work with you both to improve the team dynamic. Good luck!

I am a feminist so women can have choices. It doesn't matter what those choices are. Just be yourself, lead your best life, and support other women. Do not badger or ridicule others for their choices. That's unladylike. Ladies can be feminists too.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
