It's a great and subtle frame setter. Most attractive girls are used to thirsty dudes constantly trying to show off female attention around them to gain social status and preselection; when a guy doesn't bother to show he was on a date, she instinctively worries that maybe a) he already has enough other female attention, and b) she wasn't high value enough for him.

The fastest way to internalise RP ideology is to make lots of BP mistakes, recognise them, and never make them again. The best way to get good at sex is to have terrible or awkward sex, figure out what went wrong, and fix it for next time. RP tries to pride itself on being a lifestyle and philosophy rather than any one action, right? I'd argue the single most RP path here is to keep escalating to sex even if you suspect your first time will be awkward because you know it has to happen eventually…

When it comes to sex though I feel my blue pill self will come out or something. Probably, but who cares? Most BP fellas will lose their virginity as well, it's not a big deal if you have a shit or awkward sexual experience.

You have a lot of sex, but you'd like to see your identity as much more than "manwhore", correct? Do the same favour for these girls. Sure, they have a lot of sex and might be slutty - see if they have any other personality to keep you interested. Some won't. That's fine. Some will. I know plenty of girls who can actually sustain an intriguing and fulfilling conversation because I meet them through solid hobbies and extracurriculars, and make efforts to make regular friends and talk to them abou…

I know I should have gotten her number if I had been a true red-piller Why? TRP is ultimately about freeing yourself from constraints of "blue pill" philosophy, including a desperation to get laid, numbers, makeouts, etc. If you wanted to get her number, that's absolutely fine and we can maybe help you with that... but don't pressure yourself thinking that a "real man" would have gotten the number. A real man is whoever the fuck you define him to be, freer of societal and external pressure. But …

My bluepill me wants to write back "Thanks, you too. :)" and maybe even ask her how she's doing. This seems the most human and kind approach too. Depends how confident you are in your ability to maintain frame. If you're confident she won't be able to trap you into anything, fuck with your head, cause drama in your life, etc... then yeah, send back a nice response. TRP analysis aside, it would sting most people to send a perfectly lovely message to someone (and she knows you got it) and be total…

It's not a theory. It's been proven to be true. Firstly, "game theory" is the actual name for these studies. Secondly, you seem to misunderstand what "theory" implies in science.

Lots of pickup "rules" can be broken with great success (or even should be broken) once you've got some experience with women and a solid frame. In this specific case, buying the drink was the right idea. For 99% of blokes standing around awkwardly at a bar trying to catch a girl's eye because they're so desperate and can't feel happy without social validation... probably not.

DMT if I hit rockbottom I'll just chip in to say that DMT is definitely worth trying, and has the advantage over other drugs that it's a very short trip (20 min for a normal dose) as opposed to a full day experience. No real crash, either. It's an extremely potent drug, so work up to it (e.g. start with 1/5th the full dose, then 2/5ths, etc.) but I'd recommend it for anyone, not just someone trying to tick off a bucket list.

Largely ignore it. Don't disagree with it, but don't take it too seriously either. Joke around or give evasive answers where possible. Shrug off any challenges to your frame. Give the expected responses in exams without jumping on the bandwagon. It'll be fine.

I think this was mostly an issue of me not communicating my characterisation of that situation properly. If it's a situation where she's absolutely going to put off her assignment to hang out with you only, then yeah, it's an SMV-maximising sort of thing and you should take it. I was (trying to) refer to situations which contain a vibe more along the lines of... she's at the library working on this assignment and you've got the opportunity to drop by and "annoy her" for a bit. If you're getting …

This is a really good rule of thumb (especially for beginners, like you mentioned), but I think a small tweak can make it even more useful, though it requires a little more thought and intuition: Minimise your SMV-lowering interaction time. I think the most illustrative example I can give applies to text game - let's say a girlfriend of yours sends you a text while she's out at a house party, while you're just chilling at home. Getting into an extended text chat with her is usually the wrong mov…

It can be a bit of a fine balance. On one hand, it's useful (and fun!) to have a frame of such abundance that you don't mind talking about her dates, laughing at other guys attempting to pick her up, even giving her advice, etc. I've had some genuinely pleasant human connections just lying in bed with a girl talking about others we've been with. On the other hand, you want to avoid setting up a frame where you're just one of loads of guys chasing her, and she's the real prize. This is obviously …

Exactly right. "Err on the side of being an asshole" is a great rule of thumb for more BP guys - what they think is being an asshole is usually just standard teasing or displays of confidence and self-respect. The cue to think of women as whores might even work for them, if it actually produces that relatively mild and attractive behaviour as opposed to some full-fledged violent misogyny. My intent was solely to point out that you can be a charming, funny, jerk who's good with women without nece…

You might find this video helpful. Remember that you're going to be okay. It will hurt for a long time, but it will heal, and eventually you will reach a point of thankfulness for this event; it will be a catalyst for making you a stronger man with better frame and a richer past with women. Don't be afraid to cry or be angry - bottling it up will only delay the healing. Instead, focus on channeling it into productive activities (lifting is a good one) and learning to persist through those negati…

Not sure if "Red Pill" but it is on the subject of gender. Link here, from QI. Spoiler below: On a game show, Stephen Fry asks why they don't have more female comedians on the show. Two of the female comedians continue making jokes for a while, before Jack Dee answers the question: "Is it because once you get them started, they don't shut up?"

What worked for me was switching my emphasis to just having fun and enjoying whatever event or party I'm at, and allowing others to join in. (I think this came from Conquer your Campus, but I'm not sure. Recommend that book either way, has a fairly healthy approach to seduction.) As a result, my focus is almost entirely on being social and making sure everyone has a good time, which means a lot of compliments and happiness and energy and general bonding. My focus only ever "switches back" to gam…

Exactly. What I find particularly interesting in that last stage of the mentorship process (particularly if there's a really strong bond between mentor and student, such as with fatherhood) is that the total independence only seems to be a temporary stage. For example, a father might decide to give his now-adult son complete freedom and autonomy for a while, choosing to only watch as his son thinks and acts and learns entirely on his own. Once the son has proven himself through a handful of tria…

I feel bad for letting you guys down TRP doesn't own you. Posters are here as mentors and friends, but ultimately your accountability is to yourself. (It largely seems like it is though, just picking on this particular quote out of context.) I'm making it my mission to have my next field report end on a more positive note. Make sure you're approaching this with a student mentality, where your positive outcome is "learning" rather than "success with women". Maybe your next FR is still shit and yo…

I strongly believe that a great mentor - including fathers - will eventually make themselves redundant. At first, they make plans for you. They set your goals, pass down wisdom as commandments, and perhaps even force you to act a certain way if they have the authority or sway (such as that a father has over his children). A father might mandate that a son do their homework, because they know that good grades will help the son in the long run. They are showing you the way. Eventually, they switch…

I've had sex with a condom in the last 24 hours. It still felt great and was incredibly enjoyable for both of us. If you haven't had good sex with a condom, then yes a fleshlight is one solution... but another solution would be to get better condoms, or to learn how to have better sex, or to find a girl who is better at sex generally. Plenty of men (both on TRP and outside) will vouch for being able to have good sex with a condom - stop denying it's possible and start working on making it possib…

Be a dick. Don't show women any respect. Don't buy them anything unless they have already told you they are going to sleep with you. Treat them like common whores and they will reward you for it. If someone is completely shy around girls, always bows to their whim, and can't generate any sexual attraction at all... this is good and useful advice. A solid "rule of thumb" is to err on the side of being an asshole, especially for those who've previously been a white knight gentleman type of guy. Ev…

Sex with a condom can still be great. Picking the right condom should still leave you with a fair amount of feeling, and you still get all the other pleasant sensations (touch of skin, hearing moans, passion, etc.) with it. Resources help, but other factors matter too. Personality, status, preselection, etc. can all get you a girlfriend or sexual partner without any resources at all; two days ago I had a date where I got the girl to drive me around (no car), didn't buy her anything, and eventual…

Great to hear it, man. Abundance mentality is very freeing. I'd go one step further on your lesson learned, though, and cut out "and women". Once you're addicted enough to personal growth and become skilled at generating your own happiness, you'll realise that you'd be just fine even if there were currently no women in your life at all. They're a nice bonus, sure, but they're certainly not essential. The pleasant side effect of such an attitude is that instead of spending time chasing women, you…
