I'm comparing it to pascal's wager. I never said I was actually using pascal's wager as an argument. I simply COMPARED IT. I don't believe in eternal hell. I just meant that someone doing what makes them happy is most important, as THINGS WILL NOT MATTER WHEN YOU ARE DEAD. Whether you were a mom or not is not going to matter WHEN YOU ARE DEAD. But your intentional ignorance and avoidance of knowledge is sure not making you look smart. As well as the ad hominem. I simply said this If death is ete…
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/24 03:54 PM

I understand and sympathize with this. However, if they want to go out of the country and be a passport bro I have no problem with that. But if women allegedly have this "ego" then really what solution is there other than one that's majorly authoritarian/orwellian? And if these women are really that insufferable, why would men even want to be with them anyways?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/24 03:50 PM

Someone just commented that it's a strawman despite the fact I'm repeating word-for-word what I see said.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/24 03:48 PM

How is this a strawman when I'm seeing this exact argument made word-for-word online? It may be called extreme now, but in the future as tensions and divisions rise in our country, it could be a reality. I never saw this rhetoric in the 2010s, but all the sudden in the 2020s, it's made very common. Conservative extremists are already calling for a birth control ban.

Well it’s beyond coping. Meditating/prayer has been shown to help mental health, it creates communities, etc. You clearly aren’t really understanding the pascal’s wager argument and how I’m applying it to this. I’m saying that if death is an eternal oblivion like you’re saying it is, it doesn’t matter if someone is happy or miserable in life. Because all your memories and consciousness would be gone for eternity. And of course there’s people who are unhappy without kids. Especially women who des…

That isn't me telling myself this. I was actually really surprised to see how well adjusted they were, because initially I believed the stereotypes about "bitter single women" and "blissful tradwives" when I was younger and a lot more naive. And I still don't think it's a reason for women to avoid marriage and kids. Marriage and kids are still a wonderful, fulfilling part of life. I'm just saying it's not a death sentence if it doesn't happen for you. Think about it in a Pascal's Wager sense. Ev…

Why is it a dichtomy between marriage and kids or "forever alone with cats"? A lot of women I know who never married/had kids are aunties who travel with their nieces/nephews, teachers, nannies, are super involved in their church communities, have a closer circle of friends, are an "auntie" to their friend's kids, etc. I'd say loneliness affects men more than women.

I can understand being against casual sex/being slutty. But this idea that women can't be independent is silly? I thought we were gold diggers for wanting to be dependent on men.

I hope you find someone good regardless, you never know. You could find a younger woman eventually. You don't got a biological clock, you got this. I believe in you.

But if she settled for someone she wasn't attracted to you guys would call her a gold digger, evil manipulative witch, liar, taking advantage of a good man, etc

really any of the online feminist spaces. its why femaledatingstrategy had to get shut down due to the harassment and threats of members. even the foreveralonewomen sub gets this because they're accused of "only wanting chad" despite the members often being disabled/infertile

Daycare teacher here. It's all about finding a high quality one. I've actually seen elementary school staff treat kids WAY worse than daycare staff treat kids. It also depends on the kid too. My 3 year old neurotypical students LOVE going to school and playing with their friends. But then when I've seen autistic kids go to daycare, it's awful for them. I had behavioral issues as a toddler and probably would've done shitty in one. I also work at a public university daycare in California that rece…

I don’t see that “recruitment” at all. The women who got into those STEM programs at my school had to go through insanely hard classes and high GPA requirements. There was zero affirmative action or “special treatment”.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/24 04:16 PM

Then why expect us to care about the men’s mental health crisis?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/24 04:13 PM

Why does that have to involve a self pitying, “I’m opressed” mentality that anti feminists criticized feminism for in the first place
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/24 04:12 PM

I am against affirmative action because I think it then gives women who worked really hard a bad name. However, the problem is, people then will shit on women for being in office jobs, there’s tons of subtle sexism in the workplace, and the usual “women belong in the home” rhetoric

Body positivity isnt about some fictional chad, its about treating fat people like gasp human beings! If mocking fat women helped obesity rates, we’d be a damn skinny nation They want college degrees because in America we have a “move out at 18 and go to college or else youre a loser who works at mcdonalds” culture. Degree values are going down so people have to get more and more degrees to get a job that pays for food and shelter. Are women just supposed to be homeless?

Look. I don’t think ANYONE is happier as a "corporate slave" if it's a really shitty job. But statistics show women tend to be happier with their job than men are. A lot of women work in professions they are passionate about, such as nursing, teaching, and dog grooming. I love my own job and the structure/socialization it provides my life. I like having my own money, and it’s VASTLY improved my relationship with my parents and me, as well as my independence (as an adult who lives at home). Love …

Well first of all, the media doing that could care less about fat people and is just doing it to try and seem "socially conscious" same with all the companies that don't care about gay people but put pride flags as their logo during pride month to try and pander. And FYI- cosmo got brutal amounts of criticism for that. more criticism than praise https://www.irishtimes.com/life-and-style/Fashion/cosmopolitan-magazine-cover-criticised-for-promoting-obesity-1.3616717 https://www.boredpanda.com/plus…

That’s not what I’ve seen at all. Women are far more scrutinized for their appearance than men. Celebrity women are called fat slobs by tabloids for even gaining a tiny amount of weight One woman I watched on youtube who was overweight who made coffee videos, she got INSANE amounts of fat shaming comments despite being a super sweet and wholesome person

I replied this to another post, but is this is true wouldnt that be technically classified as psychopathy? And if women posess this form of psychopathy, isn’t it safe to say they can’t help it due to having a mental illness? So if they do, why care? It’s like getting mad at someone for having down’s syndrome. I’m not agreeing with you, just showing how silly the point is
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/24 03:23 PM

Then if women are so “dumb” and barely have free will then why blame us so much?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/24 03:21 PM

And they say how men don't want a strong independent woman, how they want someone to take care of. But then also call women gold diggers.

>From a biological perspective an empty 'carton' at 30 is a stretch. It's more important to have a healthy, well rounded partner who's firmly outside the dopamine ferris wheel and focused on contentment/building a life with their S/O (and I think this is a fair ask of both genders). Duh. It's why my generation, Gen Z is starting to become anti casual sex and anti dating app because we're seeing how well it went for the milennials.

It definitely seems like a very delicate balance to remain in, trying to find "the one" and not just a dude who dangles commitment like a carrot, and managing to pull it all off before your 30s.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/24 03:24 AM

I do see memes however of like a carton full of eggs, and it shows a woman partying and saying "I'm strong and independent!" and then an empty egg carton and showing a woman in her 30s saying "I'm ready to commit now!" a lot of men spread these memes
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/24 03:14 AM

Well I'm sure if you were a tired single dad you'd want someone to settle for you, even girls you thought were too fat because at least she can make the kids a mean quesadilla
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/24 06:23 PM

Well yeah they have the right to do whatever they want. I just think it's silly to yell at a strawman caricature of a "fat blue haired feminist" boogeyman all day.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/24 06:15 PM

Literally nobody cares about passport bros or thinks its "racist sex tourism" besides a few fringe people. The only issue is on subs like passportbros is the sheer obsession with these supposedly undesirable Western women. It's like if you guys all have beautiful skinny Japanese wives why do you talk 24/7 about these Western women you supposedly hate? Porn is sexist to both genders, so I don't see your point about that. It's not a healthy alternative to relationships, but nobody's trying to ban …

100% fair. I personally would prefer a virgin or someone with low body count due to them being more commitment oriented
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/24 07:28 PM

That is true too. A lot of my coworkers who were childfree and in 50s, were just that way due to being shy and introverted in their youth and so they just became preschool teachers and “cool aunties” to their sibling or friend’s kids and didn’t whine about it on social media

I feel like with the part of men, it’s also unfair when they play what I call the “ole trickaroo” where they say they want marriage, babies, and commitment but then will dump women for someone else

I think with some of them. There was some article from the 2000s about single childfree career women in their 30s. Years later in a follow-up article, the majority of them had done just that. Marry some introvert nerd STEM guy who still hadn't found anyone due to being a workaholic, get the IVF and have a baby at like 38
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/24 02:14 PM

Yeah exactly. As a single introverted autistic woman who struggles with dating, it trivializes it for legitimately lonely women who struggle with it due to their disabilities or fertility issues.

she was so rude though! I'd give him cred if she was nicer than me. But one of his mom's criticisms of me was that I was "too quiet and polite". I'm not denying I'm an autistic weirdo though ;)

offensiveness is the spice of ppd. anyways And in my experience the vast majority of religious people are hypocrites, so politically or religiously conservative men aren’t necessarily going to be sexually conservative in practice. This stuck out to me a lot. Because I was just thinking about this. A lot of the most religious conservative Christian men I've encountered online have like insane amounts of sexual fetishes and porn addictions. Absolutely, it also causes a chain reaction with confidence as well
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/24 06:51 PM

Yes I was going for looksmatch guys the few examples but it was like a weird chain where they'd reject me and then get either rejected/dumped by the girls they were going for. I'm not mad at any of them or jealous or anything I just am using it as an opportunity to motivate myself to be less ugly because im stubborn and like to prove myself
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/24 06:47 PM

Agreed, people with high eq usually tend to be chill and go with the flow types who don't start arguments but will also speak up if they feel like something is wrong.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/24 06:45 PM

It could be because I'm Californian, and mind you I dont use dating apps. but secondhand from female friends, I heard its basically like pulling teeth to find a guy who commits and a lot of these guys from dating apps lie about wanting commitment so they can hook up, get their rent cut in half for a few months, then onto the next girl. One of my best friends who's super sweet, submissive, pretty, etc had to go through 9 bfs before one who didn't lie and actually acted on his word of commitment. …
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/24 06:43 PM

im super ugly, im not fat or anything i was just born with unforunate features. so i am working on becoming less ugly. even though I'm already within a healthy BMI I've been working hard to count calories and lose weight, and find what haircuts suit me most. I am working on self improvement so I can find a man and ideally avoid having to use any form of dating app. I have a whole long term plan for self improvement
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/24 06:40 PM

Interesting. I just figured they were from mars.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/24 06:36 PM

Thank you so much for the practical advice. Being autistic its often confusing on what to do or be to attract men, but straightforward stuff like this is so much more helpful for me than being told to play social games or manipulate. I'm a pretty literal person.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/24 06:34 PM

THIS. this is a based rational take. I think i'll be a cooperative woman then instead of feisty or submissive. The middle way as The Buddha said.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/24 06:33 PM

rooting for you man
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/24 06:21 PM

Well I mean yeah like I felt confused and conflicted regarding the whole "hard to get" games because yknow shouldnt I just be myself if im gonna be with this person for the rest of my life? IDK. it's confusing.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/24 06:05 PM

LOL i love the sound of your girl! She sounds hilarious and sweet But it definitely does feel confusing as an autistic woman having to follow like one social code but also another.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/24 06:04 PM

Well I'm a psychology nerd so it's always fascinated me, trying to figure out why things are the way they are. Especially because this wasn't me like chasing after "chads" or anything. A lot of these guys had no money, no driver's license, and were like 5'6 because I don't care about height or income. I think short guys are way cuter than tall guys. But they just saw me as a good friend or like a sister to them, and would trust me with personal secrets but didn't want to date me. So I always won…
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/24 05:54 PM

So that's what confused me as well. Because to have a submissive partner, you must be someone who's very organized and a good leader. My dad is the primary breadwinner but has always been the more submissive one in the relationship because my mom is very good at managing our finances/insurance/general bills, keeping the house organized and spotless, and negotiating with both men and women to get things done. So I would imagine a decent dominant husband would be super organized as well, have a cl…

Modern dating is a product of the past. I say this a lot but a lot of women who go against the “traditional” grain, it was due to seeing how unhappy their moms/female relatives were. And personally, I know women are being scaremongered into not being a “bitter cat lady” right now. But I think clearly this whole “make women marry a random dude because religion” is not gonna be helpful. I mean I'm not some trad redpiller but 20s are usually ideal to have kids fertility-wise but that's a big IF you have a good, stable partner. If someone waits until they're 30, obviously, it's way harder to conceive, but better that than raising kids as a single mom in poverty because you married the first guy you looked at who had red flags but were in a huge neurotic panic over "dying alone".
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/24 06:15 PM

I think people often forget that we have a "kick out at 18" culture in America and blame career-driven women and the CC and yada yada without accounting for other factors. How many of these "high flying girlbosses" were probably pressured by parents? Especially girls I knew who were raised by single moms are often pressured to have a backup plan. There's also the fact that housing is deathly expensive and not every girl is going to automatically have a partner they can move in with at 18.

Grass is greener mentality. I've had tons of married moms I've worked with repeatedly tell me they're incredibly jealous I don't have kids. Single people are jealous of married people. Married people are jealous of single people. Everyone complains. Nobody is happy. Life goes on.

The man would easily have a better time making friends hands down. Being a woman who doesn’t fit in with other women is incredibly hard. And second of all I have severe social anxiety, don’t use dating apps and haven’t been asked out in YEARs. I have a huger statistical likelihood of finding an abusive partner than neurotypical women do due to my gullible nature. I’ve constantly had trouble making and keeping friends my whole life and AM socially isolated irl due to how shy I am. One boyfriend b…

Yeah I see a bunch of girls wandering my university in thong bikinis and it breaks my heart to see it. I remember when I was younger and more conservative in the 2010s, I heard predictions about 2020s being more conservative. I hoped it’d be a decade where we valued in person connections, real dating, quitting social media/casual sex/dating apps, etc. instead we got the manosphere and a bunch of broken people arguing on the internet all day. I think the concept you’re talking about makes sense. …

First of all, I was rejected several times and friendzoned before I got with my ex, and even then he still didn't want to marry me and commit to me. You guys claim that feminists claim to be oppressed and want some oppression olympics, yet are doing the exact same victim mentality thing. Second of all I think a lot of the social protection stuff is stupid and I never said I was for it. I have advocated multiple times that a man should be able to hit a woman back if she hits him. I advocate stron…

I would think it would work the same on men, as men are very lonely right now not only due to lack of girlfriends but a lot of them don't have the same supportive friendship networks and male companionship. I'd say that being outcast by other guys for encouraging "carols" would be pretty big.

Ah yes because we should all be protected by and submissive towards low attention span zoomer men who can’t even clean their room or get off video games for 5 seconds. And have a tinder addiction. Thanks meninism.

When I’ve looked at the comments of his videos, the sheer irony when I see him saying that women will die alone with 20 cats or die alone in nursing homes. Because these people commenting seem so bitter and angry that I couldn’t imagine they’d get along well with any kids of theirs.

I think mens and womens issues are different obviously and both of them experience their own complex stuff so therefore it’s important each has it’s own individual movement to address concerns. Similar to how there’s a movement to raise cancer awareness and one to raise AIDs awareness instead of just yelling at the cancer one “WHAT ABOUT AIDS HUH???” Also why should anything I’m saying bother you when it’s all fully voluntary and doesn’t involve any of your tax dollars?

Here’s how I see it though: I think it’s perfectly okay if men want to have their social own movements too. It’s like how there’s seperate movements for cancer and AIDs because both need their own resources and have different issues they want to focus on. Why can’t women and men just have their own movements that just focus on their individual needs? Unless you want to be womansplained to how the men’s mental health crisis isn’t real?

That doesn’t mean it just doesn’t exist, like I said. And that all of the sudden we should stop social movements. And I have zero problems when there’s men’s movements addressing this. I personally prefer short men over tall men. LOL SAYS WHO? I’ve met hundreds of moms as a preschool teacher from stay at home moms working there part time as a pocket money job to low income moms having to work two jobs. All of them were burnt out and some of them even admitted they regretted having kids. “All the…

I replied this to a few other comments. For perspective, I’m fiscally conservative, socially feminist, and libertarian. Here’s what feminism means to me: More social awareness movements regarding sexual harassment and street harassment/stalking as it hasn’t magically gone away less bullying and fat shaming and more health education, as believe it or not tweeting at someone that they’re a fat ugly cow doesn’t actually help them lose weight. (Multiple studies show bullying actually makes binge eat…

I already replied this to another comment but dropping this here: I’m a libertarian feminist, fiscally conservative and socially liberal. I’m primarily focused on feminism as a social movement and I don’t believe in government intervention or affirmative action. So from my experiences as an autistic women, I’ve noticed heavy amounts of internalized misogyny especially towards women who don’t fit in. The way I’m a feminist is I promote positivity among women and discourage gossip. To me, feminism…

I’m a libertarian feminist and I’m focused on the social issue aspect. I’ve noticed being treated with internalized misogyny by other women as an autistic women who doesn’t fit in. I’ve had guys follow me asking for my number and refuse to take no for an answer. Instead of government intervention or affirmative action I simply believe in education.

“feminism teaches women to be perpetual victims” aaand the red pill doesn’t with this whole idea of “women don’t like me so the government owes me a free girlfriend and elliot rodger is a hero”

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
