If your company charges 200/200 and mine charges 200/175 and we offer the same service, women have no incentive to pay extra money to use your service so you'll eventually have to either change your business model, decrease your price, or accept a reasonably significant loss of sales. Unless those deadly jobs are sufficiently numerous, or have a MASSIVE pay premium, then mathematically they're not really the place to look for explanations, regardless of your stance on the overall wage gap. Actually, most reports I've seen have attributed the vast majority of the difference in lifespan to women going to the doctor significantly more often than men- As in, getting regular checkups etc. rather than just going to the doctor when they're sick.

I suspect that PUA wouldn't work quite as well if women had a better understanding of what makes them tick. I disagree. Or rather, the basis of PUA would still be totally valid while the methodologies might change. I mean really all that PUA literature boils down to is "approach lots of women, don't get hung up on failures, build off your successes."
