You need cultural underpinnings to make real polygamy work--it needs to be part of the moral/religious fabric of the society. Societies that have monogamy as a norm tend to be more stable and cooperative (understandably), so that picked up steam, since you needed to defend your society from other violent groups who'd come enslave you and take your women, etc and set up polygamy for themselves and their culture. so to really make that an acceptable norm you pretty much need some kind of conquered…

I had an apartment mate in college--literally the smelliest person I have ever met. His room literally smelled like a dumpster, it was disgusting. He once told me "if you have no fear of rejection you'll always end up getting a hit" I can't say I admire the guy but he wound up doing fairly well considering the dumpster

You guys heard of mattress girl at Columbia? She was this rich girl who made rape accusations 3 months after the fact, even though there were texts showing positive interactions between them after the alleged rape date, and then she ultimately carried a mattress around campus for her "senior project" protesting rape allegedly/word on the street the story is that the guy involved convinced her to do anal and then ghosted her, and then she decided she was raped Seems to fit your framework

My take here is to actually achieve the equivalent of polygyny in a western setting you'd have to go pretty far down the socioeconomic/cultural totem pole to find a girl who's willing to go for that, long term, unless you are the Chad of Chads. OLTR that is skewed toward the guy (ie she doesn't really hook up with other dudes generally) in my opinion won't last, unless the smv difference is really stark--if she's not actively looking for other guys to replace you, then she won't put up with you …

I completely agree with this, and I think porn kind of fucks with your mind and makes you think you deserve better, since that's what your brain thinks you are scoring, but you really aren't. I think the "beer goggles" effect will happen to normal guys who are counting out 5s and 6s even as they don't have success if they cut out the porn--ie, they'll stop seeing themselves as so above these women once their system realizes they aren't getting their dick sucked by 8s and 9s on the internet and e…

optimal move would be plate, make sure she notices abundance, and if you really see something worth keeping around hope this experience leads to a LTR where the terms are entirely different than all the shit you put up with previously. But I doubt it. Most likely you just plate her for a bit and then she gets upset for irrational reasons and then it's over for good. But hey, probably dodging a bullet there.

Nietzsche is complex but I'd say the biggest positive advice I'd take from him is: don't complacently believe what others/society tell you. Forge your own values. Women (and everyone else) will ultimately respect you more, even if you inevitably piss people off along the way. Stepping on a few toes is way less of a penalty than mediocrity + hating yourself and your life

Better look out, here comes a guy working hard to improve himself and then having sex with a girl who he doesn't plan to commit to since she's nothing special. Talk about misogyny

What do you think was the final straw on this quarantine? I bet some women working at Reddit were flipping out about this Brett Kavanaugh situation so they scapegoat TRP to placate them

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
