If you would do the same to man, you aren't a misogynist. Merely overly violent.

There is always an ulterior motive with everyone. Men aren't these selfless angles, and I speak as one of them.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/15 06:58 AM

Yes. Women are more likely to stay with a cancer-ridden partner. Friendlier and kinder are subjective and cannot be measured (and coming from someone who has been bullied by men, that is something I know isn't always true)
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/15 05:14 AM

Well wouldn't it be the same for women and men?

This is one of the most racist things I have read.

Oh please. As if there aren't a thousand ways to learn online. As if you can't just rock up and ask someone for help. TPR doesn't have a monopoly on weightlifting advice!

The one and the three just want to be treated with the respect they deserve, and the rights they deserve.

Equal doesn't mean identical. One plus three is the same as two plus two.

So lesbians aren't women? Are you serious? I never thought I would see the day. From dictionary : woman : an adult human female. No mention of sexual attraction.

This post addresses "women".

So you expect women to empathise with men, but men can get away with not empathising with women? Probably today was the last time? More men a psychopaths then women are.

Of course it is. I should have said 'misogyny'. I have met my fair share of sexist women.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/15 01:30 PM

No. I am a man. Sexism does't affect me anyway.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/15 12:06 PM

Because it means that more men will become sexist, and the world will be slightly shittier. And plus, it is irrational.

This sounds dangerously close to 'there are no atheists in foxholes'
/r/PurplePillDebate16/02/15 10:08 AM

That was actually made up. As in someone made it up as a joke.

Right. Yep. Given the power Hitler and the Germans had, feminists would literally gas all men to death. Yep.

Awards and cook offs are not double blind studies, conducted scientifically. If there was a different group tasting the food the chef cooked, there would likely be a different winner. This is not scientific.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/01/15 09:19 AM

And also, you realise that beauty, or lack of it is completely subjective? It is impossible to do a double blind study on attractiveness. I would guess if such a thing is possible there would be no correlation, as I think you are suffering from a healthy dose of confirmation bias.

That is because women and children are seen as weaker. It is the same with the tradition of letting women get off a sinking ship first. It is because the people who came up with it reasoned that women are less capable of taking care of themselves.

Can you give an example of feminists downplaying the deaths of men? I would be interested to read some.

But are you disputing that his problems were because "women can be shitty, manipulative, and illogical"? Read the bolded section of LickMyUrchin's post. He does not deserve attention and adoration from women. No one, man or woman, deserves that, no matter how many nice shirts and cars you have.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/01/15 05:05 AM

What you are implying is that feminists are only feminists because they are uglier than other women, and thus need feminism. Do you not see what is wrong with your logic there?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/01/15 03:23 AM

But nazism has the underlying principle that one group does not, while feminism (as it should be, but sometimes isn't) does theoretically not.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/01/15 03:20 AM

Of course there are flaws in feminism. Of course there are feminists that are full of it. Of course there are man haters. Of course there are people that identify as feminists that they are so out of touch with reality that they do the things that you have thoughtfully provided examples of. Feminists are people, and people can be irrational, biased, prejudiced, and illogical. You might as well argue against Christianity by discussing the Westboro Babtist Church. Most feminists would laugh at the…

It is so disingenuous to suggest that feminism correlates with ugliness.

Because you get a balanced upbringing, where both husband and wife take time off work to raise kids. I look forward to you proving that letting half the world have more freedom is destroying society.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/14 04:59 AM
1

Find some statistics on lower birth rates and prove that it was feminism's fault. Poorly raised kids? Where does this come from? You mean because traditional gender roles don't apply any more, somehow kids will be worse off? I think kids should, and are, better raised today. You guys idolise and idealise a society that you don't actually understand and never lived in.

I don't think so. I see that today it is basically impossible to have just one provider in the family - and I think this is a good thing. Women having an opportunity to work is only fair.

I just looked up 'E=mc2 is sexist' and nearly threw up.

He was the head of a team who had just advanced science and brought science into the spotlight. You lose credibility. Everyone has the right to wear what they want, but they should be prepared to face the consequences of it. Of course, the consequences in his case were blown out of proportion.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/14 02:10 PM

First of all, thank you for taking the time to translate this article; it was an interesting read. I believe that he shouldn't have worn the shirt; it was unprofessional. But it doesn't mean that he is sexist, and he definitely did not deserve that backlash.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/14 12:50 AM

Of course. But from my experience, the 'cool, respect-worthy' sleep with the 'cool, respect-worthy girls'.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/14 10:35 AM

Why isn't it true? You haven't justified your point.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/14 01:43 AM

No. Read a study on it. We are all biased towards those different to us. It is only the extent, and affect of it, that changes from person to person.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/12/14 01:39 AM

I think you missed my point - I agree with the statement that everyone is racist, sexist etc. It was literally my first sentence.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/12/14 06:07 AM

What you are saying is that confidence does not exist as it is the result of something else. Which doesn't make sense. I agree with your second paragraph though.

You will have to clarify what the hell you mean.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/14 03:03 PM

Of course. Humans are selfish pricks.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/14 01:21 AM

Morality is also a human construct. I define morality as what is the best for the human race. It is better for the human race if women can vote and get the same education as men, because otherwise we are wasting 50% of the great scientists, philosophers, and artists that we could potentially benefit from.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/14 08:32 AM

That is a blatant ad hominum.

I don't see how women destroy marriage?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/14 09:03 AM

Just because society has done something for millennia does not mean we should continue to do so. I knew (hoped) you didn't believe so. How could women voting be a factor in deteriorating society, exactly?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/14 08:08 AM
1

Fine. I will try again. Because it is blatantly sexist? Because it disallows actual humans to have a say in their lives? Because there is no rational reason against it?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/14 01:38 PM
1

Because it is a basic human right?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/14 01:08 PM

You realise that just by saying that, you have shown that you are not part of the 'high intelligence' spectrum of men. Also (assuming you are male) just because more smart men are smarter than smart women, it doesn't mean you are.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/11/14 01:26 PM

Often it isn't though. Many are forced into prostitution.

I guess if we are talking binaries I lean a bit towards blue than red (am male by the way). Essentially, I believe that women are not on the whole selfish and use sex to improve their position in the world, based off personal experience where two of my closest friends are female and from general life. Why should we treat people differently based off an accident of birth? I have seen posts on that sub that tell you to treat women like children, say that they should only be used for pleasure, and …

Misogyny means 'hatred of women'. How can that not be negative?
