Wow that sucks man! Thousands?? You must have really bad luck! Definitely the women you meet’s fault, certainly no way it’s you or your attitude! Damn!

Right there with you. She was so head over heels into me early on that I thought I was invincible, could do no wrong. Why not act a little beta? She’ll still love me. Nope! Crazy how quickly it turned. From her saying I’m everything she’s ever wanted in a guy and no dating experience has ever come close, to her just dropping me with no interest in even trying to work through it.

Yup same. Can’t stop thinking about the what if’s if covid never happened, if we tried again in normal times. We had something great and I drove her away. Crazy how clear it is to see in hindsight.

A Random Walk Down Wall Street would be a good starting point

I’ve noticed boat shoes are fading a little bit lately, and more people are wearing nice sneakers in the same situations they would’ve worn boat shoes a few years ago. I’ve got a white pair of ASICS Gel Lyte V’s that go with literally everything, and I just added a pair of Adidas NMD R1s that I get a ton of compliments on. Having strong “sneaker game” seems very in right now, boat shoes seem played out.

Had this sort of happen one of the last times I approached a group. Pretty attractive girl I thought I recognized from a party a few months back, standing at the bar with her friends. Walked up to her and asked her if we’d met before. Some short, probably unattractive girl (she was essentially invisible to me) spoke up for her, “no you’ve never met her!” And shouted at me to go away a few times. All the while I completely ignored her and kept my focus on the girl I was trying to reconnect with. …

You should listen to the podcast he did with Joe Rogan. Pretty eye opening and shows somewhat of a different side of him and gives color to his backstory.

Had my first ever run in with an orbiter white knighting the girl I was talking to. What's the best way to handle this/respond? Quick story to follow Last night my fraternity had a joint Mardi Gras party with another fraternity, held at their house. Nights going well, trying to not get too drunk, talking to lots of people, etc. At one point noticed an exceptionally good looking girl, but didn't approach her immediately. Made eye contact with her once or twice throughout the night but wasn't too …

I don't have a boatload of value to add here but take some risks! What's there to lose with some random chick? Had you set your hand on her leg at one point during the date the whole trajectory of it would've changed. This girl is/was in to you on some level. Kino definitely takes practice but it's way easier than I thought it would be. Only took a few months from being scared shitless of touching a girl to it becoming one of my best skills. Hit this girl up again, go to a bar in the evening and…

I live in my fraternity house so it's a pretty simple formula when we have parties. Catch eyes with attractive girl. Introduce, ask dumb questions about her dorm and major. Tell her I live upstairs. Escalate. Almost blows me away how easy it is sometimes.

Definitely not too old. My fraternity had a guy join as a 5th year senior and was loved by everyone. Another guy was a member for a solid 3 years, but had started college late. When he told me he was 24 i was shocked because he was just another one of the boys. If you fit in it doesn't matter.

Been acquaintances with this girl for a couple years, but only been single for like half that, so the default setting in a way was "friends". Only seen her out a couple times but one time she was giving some pretty heavy signs but we were both too drunk for anything to happen. Recently went on a study abroad with her in our group and again, got some IOIs (though she was blatantly trying to fuck another guy in our group, who was having none of it) yet again on the one night I had a shot with her …

Sterling is alpha as fuck. Looks out for himself first. Gets lots of hot girls and generally doesn't get attached to them. And he fucks with his beta pal Cyril. Idk I just love the show and think Archer is a raging badass

I looked that up - obviously there names were wrecked at the time but they managed to recover pretty well. I think two of them are on Wall Street and the other is a lawyer.

Fun fact - I actually just recently landed an internship with Goldman Sachs. Deleted and restarted my tinder after my updated my job on Facebook and I've gotten about triple the matches in way less time.

Also, I'll agree with the comment about GDI girls. Usually a bit less insane. And most sorority girls care way more about their perception and don't want to be viewed as slutty (even though they load themselves with makeup, squat all week, and wear super revealing clothes to our parties. Yeah, I know.) so as a result, the second girl in a sorority becomes much more difficult than the first, especially if they are the same pledge class. Sorority girls talk LIKE CRAZY

I'll agree that TFM and the fraternity scene has always been about fucking as many sorority sluts as you can and not getting tied down, but I had never seen an article that addressed a lot of these topics in that way on TFM. Read some of the comments and you'll definitely see that the readers didn't all react well to it.

Nah there's definitely a lot of repeats in there. I'd say average is 3-6 new girls a year for the single guys in our chapter who actually make an effort.

Top tier at my large state school actually. Maybe I downplayed it a little bit - there are definitely a good amount of guys that get laid a lot in our chapter but way more than you'd think who are aggressively friend zoned and don't ever like go out of their way to meet new girls. The average guy is one who takes very few risks and gets laid by mid tier girls like once or twice a month maybe. I have fraternity brothers ask me, "dude where do you meet these girls?" And the answer is that I go out…

I got rejected by every target school I applied to. College is a time to start fresh. Wherever you end up, make the most of your opportunities and always strive for more. Separate yourself from the pack. You'll get there.

In my experience, pretty much the only people having sex in high school were in LTRs. One night stands are a little more rare. You might get a girl to blow you at some drunken house party but it's not that big of a deal. I went to a private Catholic high school so maybe my experience isn't a good representation, but the sex will come in college for sure. Literally a whole new world compared to high school. I'm 21 now, and only a few months deep in TRP and damn I wish I had TRP when I was a fresh…

Well the "fuck that guy" was a bit of joke, he's still one of my best friends. I did let his success get to my head a little bit this past weekend, but yeah I'm all in on moving on and not looking back

Yeah fuck that guy! The girl is one of the hotter girls in Greek life at our school (larger state university) and while I hadn't done anything with her yet, there were definitely some IOIs so I thought she'd be a great date and a chance at a lay. All that was out the door as soon as she was around my roommate - turned off any of my advances and was all out trying to bang my roommate. I'm taller than him, in better shape, dress better, have a very elite internship, and am way more social. Really …

Good for you man. What that tells me is that you never really lost your chance with her. If you're going to post on here asking for advice on a specific situation, give as much detail as possible. Enjoy your "I told you so moment" but note that my comment holds true given the information you gave and how these situations usually play out.

You blew it. Move on. Don't text her again. Plenty of fish in the sea. She's not nearly as special as you may think she is.

I'm currently a junior at a "top" house on campus - yeah it's fucking awesome, you've got that right. But where are your brothers now? I don't plan on severing any of these friendships when I graduate. And most of the young alumni from our chapter I know are still best friends so not sure why you think you need to make new friends or something. Is there no bar scene in your town? Around me, there's like the college area near campus, and then downtown and in some of the neighboring areas there ar…

Lots of good tips here, really appreciate it. I think I just need to get out of my head so much but I feel better about it anyway.

Hmm I think that's probably a pretty fair assessment. I probably should've moved things along quicker but I also wanted to make sure she was on board for anything - sexual assault claims can destroy a fraternity.
