1	Victim Blaming - Why isn't the victim partially at fault? I think the more interesting case is the nuanced one where someone is drunk and decides to have sex. Say a man is drunk, and decides to have sex with another man who is sober. This is technically rape according to some definitions because the drunk man cannot consent. However, we blame the sober man as the perpetrator of the rape. It's interesting how responsibility shifts if the drunk man were driving instead of having sex.	/r/MensRights	06/05/14 08:23 PM

I think often the misunderstandings arise from a difference in language, and if one is careful this problem can be avoided. For example, I would never call myself a feminist among MRA's and I would never call myself an MRA amongst feminists. I thought it may have been something interesting. Cat calls are used by men toward women at a higher frequency. That has significance because of its use and social context. In that respect, I think it's noted by many. I don't suspect power relations play into it like the book does. Then again, I'm not a social scientist/psychologist. 7	Rebecca Watson thinks (rightly) that blaming women for being raped is wrong. Then blames men for being assaulted by women. I have no idea why you're getting downvoted for saying this.
