Her American husband is a waiter/videographer. But the thing is, he’s not lazy or irresponsible. He loves and adores her, he treats her amazing, and he picks up the extra slack at home when she has to work late into the evening. The same shit happens to men, it’s not a strictly gendered phenomena to be on your ‘best behaviour’ when entering into a relationship.
