I don't think I can. This is a subtle case with a lot of details that whatever your ideology might interpret as relevant might hinge on, and I am not an expert in this case or the surrounding context. I would suggest see if you can try to find a women's studies professor to give you a run down, but good luck with that.

what do you do to find things out related to trials? This one is a special case: the court transcripts are not being published due to the sensitive nature of the case. For a case like this, that's a local case, most of the time you don't have to know what the result is because it's usually a private matter between two parties. For cases that make their way to the supreme court, you can check the supreme court's website. which has some resources. There's also CanLII which will allow you to search…

You might have to be following the case a little more closely to make sense of it: it's kind of a major issue in canada right now. Ghomeshi is a major figure in canadian media - one of the most popular people in the country until this case started. It's an interesting case well worth looking up the details of.

STEM programs don't need more female representation any more than it needs more tall people, or people without glasses, or black people etc... Actually it needs more women and black people, because without them the local cultures quickly become toxic and good talent and decent people end up walking out of the field. Teams with women and men outperform teams with men alone, on average, which doesn't hurt.
