There victim-blaming thing got me... No one was blaming female victims of assault for causing the assault! No one was blaming victims. It was just, like, "women = victims, so blaming women means victim blaming." No logic

Positive discrimination is what they call "affirmative action" in the UK (and maybe in Australia). It's not really a new term, and had been used over there for the last few decades, at least.

Vasectomies are not a guarantee either. The best method of bc it's proper use of a condom combined with the use of a spermicide (not just a condom with spermicide, but a separate product).

I worked for a small business that, when they incorporated, gave 51% ownership to the founder, and president's, wife, just so they could claim they were a woman-owned business. Better yet, they were getting divorced, and the husband did not know that his wife had done this.

There are multiple "levels" of FGM that range from 'only' removing the hood, to removing the visible clitoris, and the labia minora. When discussing female vs male circumcision, it seems many would rather ignore the 'lesser' versions of FGM so that the comparison is harder to make.

Because she decided to go public with this, no one made her. She said, through her lawyer, that she was ready to talk about this publicly. Either you are or you aren't.

Thank you for the information. That wasn't something I'd given much thought to.

Can you provide some examples? I'm genuinely curious, as I've not heard this before.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
