I totally understand. I have all of my “friends” in my phone on my calendar for their birthdays and I have always remembered to buy gifts and make sure to try to make it special. My birthday was Wednesday. Not a single person remembered. Not one. Even one friend who I talk to all the time frequently was texting me that day and didn’t mention it. I didn’t bother reminding her. And that is when I realized I care way more about other people than they do about me. I’m done. I will no longer waste my…

This just goes to show that we’re all just placeholders for men. They will take what they can get from whoever they can get it from and not care one single bit. They will use you, manipulate you, and lie to you. He will keep this girl waiting, string her along, until the “right person” comes along and then dump her like it’s nothing. This is also why you should never, ever pursue a man. Don’t ask him out on a date. Don’t text him first. And for goodness sake, NEVER propose!

This happened to me with my first boyfriend! In my younger years, I had no idea what healthy relationships looked like. I had never seen it modeled for me. So I ended up with someone very verbally/emotionally abusive, manipulative, and deceitful. He always told me he would commit suicide if I left him. One day he told me that he would never break up with me, because he was always the one to get broken up with and he wouldn’t break up with anyone on his own. He didn’t want to be the person to do …

Yes, way to go! Good luck! I work in the court system, and I can tell you sometimes it can be a bit overwhelming. If you don’t have a lawyer, you might want to find a volunteer attorney service just to make sure all of your documents you’re filing are in order before you show up to court so you won’t have to have any unnecessary court dates. Go get ‘em Queen 👑

I’m 5’10”. Seeing all you tall ladies here makes my heart happy! I used to try to slouch to appear shorter and I never wore heels. But not anymore. Now I stand up straight and I wear my cute 3” wedges if I want to! If men can’t deal with the fact that I’m tall that’s their problem, not mine.

Ok. I know that it’s very difficult because you have feelings for him and are probably emotionally attached to him, but if I were you I would break up with him. You know he is flat out lying to you and obviously doesn’t have a problem with it. He let all those girls disrespect you in Target and didn’t have a problem with them hanging all over him right in front of you, and then lied right to your face. I know in situations like this it’s easy to want to believe the best and to want to excuse thi…

The thing is, is that if they do it once they’ll do it again. It doesn’t really matter what they tell you. So even if he tries to tell you that he will change and he’ll stop behaving that way, that’s not going to happen. I would block this guy and leave him blocked until the end of time. Delete him on all social media and move on. I know that can feel really devastating and heartbreaking at first, but you deserve so much better! You are worth far more than being treated like this.

This is good! Yeah now that I know I do it, it’s so much easier to pay attention to what I’m saying.

I hate it when men say “I don’t know why I did it.” Yes you do. You did it to manipulate her, abuse her, and get her to give you what you wanted. Don’t lie and say you don’t know. Men absolutely know what they’re doing when they do disgusting and vile things like that.

Almost any name that starts with J. I don’t know what it is about guys whose name starts with that letter, but anytime I meet one, I steer clear. I would rather have a wisdom tooth pulled awake than date another man whose name started with a J.

All the time. But I’ve noticed that it usually comes from people who are in unstable, unhealthy marriages so I try not to listen to what they have to say. I feel like some, not all, married couples really try to put on a front that they have it all together and are living their ‘happily ever after’ when they know they made a mistake and are actually miserable. And it’s usually those people, in my experience, who will tell you to hurry up and find a man and get married. There is a lot of pressure…

Sometimes I wish that what actually happened was made up! But it wasn’t. Thankfully I have been in therapy for a year now and it has definitely helped me a lot. That was the last relationship I’ve had and that was 2 years ago. It was really my last straw, I knew that something needed to change because I couldn’t keep allowing myself to be treated with such disrespect. It took me a long time to get over it. Not because I was broken hearted over losing him, I knew I did the right thing by ending i…

In my opinion, online dating just isn’t worth it. From my previous experience, I felt like I took the time to create a thoughtful, well written profile that was a true projection of who I was only to be met with a ton of profiles that were full of complete lies. Or they would have nothing written at all except one sentence that said “if you wanna know just ask.” The bare minimum amount of effort. And the amount of major, and even minute things that men will lie about just absolutely baffled me! …

Oh my gosh, yes! I tell people the same thing, I will never try OLD ever again. It's just too risky. And thank you so much, I am just so happy that I don't have to deal with that anymore! I made a lot of mistakes in that relationship that I don't intend to repeat lol

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
