How can you ask god for forgiveness knowing you already have plans to do it again?" You can ask but you won't get forgiveness if you have plans to do it again. Repentance is when you sincerely give up the sin and that's when you get forgiveness.

Just adding that repentance isn't just saying "sorry", it is realizing that you did wrong and quitting the wrongdoing. A wife beater who repents won't beat his wife anymore, so the wife can go back.

Your sin isn't counted against you, it doesn't mean, it is not a sin, just that you aren't punished for it (for what reason? The rest of the Scriptures are clear that it is always because of faith and repentance, always. You'll never find an unrepentant unbeliever anywhere at any time in the Scriptures that God decides to just go scot-free of the consequences of his sin eternally.)

Romans 7: 8 - “blessed is the one whose sin the Lord will never count against them.” That's about forgiven people. It isn't that when they sin, it is not counted as a sin, it is just that since they come to faith and repentance, their sins get forgiven and so they won't be counted against them. There’s also another instance where Paul says he can do something and it’s not a sin, but if others do it it’s a sin. Nope. I can already bet my head that it is a general rule that there are conditions th…

That's a symptom of what I was talking about. You can take rhetorics and sales classes but it is hard to find a class that deals with taming the flesh and the tongue, right ? There is a reason why, when the Lord commissioned His disciples, He didn't send them to go right away, but asked them to wait in Jerusalem first, till they were baptized with the Holy Ghost and received power to testify. He also told them that when they would have to answer before men and testify, then the utterance would b…

This sub is about red pills, and one redpill about evangelism, is that salesmanship and other tools of persuasion cannot make a true disciple. No one will ever be convicted, experience genuine repentance, be born again, receive the Holy Spirit and be a faithful disciple of Jesus for the rest of their lives because of your salesmanship skills and experience or because of your public speaking training, NO ONE. That's rather how you get reformed religious people who will be persuaded intellectually…

Black and African man here. Your post is truthful and I really appreciate your burden for the community. That's a nuclear comfort test. When a relationship grows old like this, the woman will be tempted to test whether she already earned permanent tenure, i.e. you have been so long in the relationship that you would dread terminating it, just like the comments say "it has been FIVE f*cking years, come on!", because it means she can afford to do whatever and stop putting efforts in the relationships without ever risking to get dumped, she is safe for life. Not just social media. If you know women very well in real life or know someone who does, it is a very very common problem. As a Christian, here's what got me to value physical strength as a part of Biblical masculinity: In the law of Moses, women were asked to scream for help if they were attacked by a rapist in a place where people around could hear her shout. Now, I realized that this law required a people brave enough, fit enough and strong enough to promptly get out of their houses or shops or fields to confront a rapist and grab him and turn him over to the authorities. That was the start of something: God has …

I grew up under severe parents. And I think that the anxiety was worth. There will always be some responsibilities and some overlord to worry about handling, it is better to be used to dealing with that and have disciplined habits: it gives you an edge into adulthood. You can easily learn social skills and picking up women in a short time. But the maturity that you already have is invaluable and couldn't have been so easily caught up on.

Stop doing that. Live exactly like you want, doing and saying what you want, whether any woman is around or not. Be the same, in their absence as in their presence, be you. You will see that they won't treat you like this anymore. Women act like this towards people who care and bow to their moods like you have been doing so far. But they really respect those who respect themselves. I am speaking from experience here.

Women chase me occasionally. At any time, there is always at least one woman I can have if I go through the motions, many more in my homecountry. But I am not interested, it just feels pointless; at some point it gets old to lie down there after an orgasm with post-nut clarity wondering why you even did it, because it is that empty.

In those cultures where whiteness is revered, yeah, a white chad is prefered over his black or brown equivalent. You did not understand me. I know that the salary of all sin is death. But that does not mean that every sin was given the death penalty in the law of Moses. The law doesn't just require marriage after premarital sex with a virgin. The law forbids premarital sex altogether: Premarital sex for a woman is a sin, see Deut 22:21. The passage calls it "whoring", and an outrage to her father (as the unmarried woman is under her father's authority) and to all of Israel. The virgin having sex before marriage has already sinned. Thankfully, the Law only required marrying her hymen's breaker. But still, after a woman loses her virginity, whoring is not allowed…

Well, the law says that if you ever have sex with a woman, you must pay her dowry and take her for wife, unless her father refuses. Also, after paying the dowry for a woman, you go unto her and you find out that she is not a virgin, it is your right to denounce her and she will be stoned to death. So premarital sex for women is clearly a sin. The biblical word for that is "whoring" or "playimg the harlot". How about her male partner ? He is the accomplice. The biblical word for that is "whoremon…

Christian women are different, if you go by the biblical definition of Christianity: People who received the correct Gospel, repented, were baptized correctly, received the Holy Spirit and persevere for the rest of their lives in learning the teaching of Jesus by His apostles and keeping His commandments. (Those people are the Church, or the disciples, whom the world called "Christians" just as we call Marxists, the guys who adhere to Marx's ways. And the vast majority of professed Christians, e…

I am both A and D at the same time. And yeah, I've been the Alpha sometimes and the Simp some other times to different women depending on me behaving like A or D to them. I don't know what I am exactly, anymore. Even in my current relationships, I find myself juggling between both roles depending on my mood. I am very confused on that.

Look outside your window, open a newspaper. Do you see world peace or knowledge of God covering the earth? No, not yet. Jesus will do that later, when He comes back to establish the Kingdom perpetually. Just like King David had a first lifetime where he brought the golden age of the kingdom, then died and will be back (resurrected) to rule the Israel of what you call the Messianic age (Christians call that same era "the Millenium"), all according to Eze 31v21-25. The very same, the Messiah, the …

He didn't Elaborate We don't live in the messianic age. Elaborate Who did he plead with and why? Who found him worthy? Who granted him life and authority? His Father. I know that the terminology Father/Son is tricky and seemingly confusing but let me explain as clearly as possible. As a kid, I liked to build sand castles, fill them up with colonies of ants and watch them interact. Now imagine that I transformed into an ant to pay them a visit. If the ants living there knew me, upon observing the…

Same here. It made me a super-achiever (as it was my only way to ever get some attention) in my entire childhood up to my teenage years. And then I got addicted to the praise I received for that. I developed a terrible habit for showing off, humblebragging, even lying and the like, just to get my fix of others' approval. I became a slave to that. I was seriously depressed for years and at some point, I got a terrible burnout. At some point, thankfully, God found me back and He has been healing m…

Also, their weird stance on atonement not being complete at the Cross, and that as High Priest after His ascension, Jesus only started the final process in 1844 or something along those lines, that's what put me off. I was initially attracted by Ellen G. White's Great Controversy. But the SDA denomination really is something else, especially with their doctrine on vegetarianism (which is nothing biblical) , the status they gave to her writings and the stuff I mentioned above.

Sorry that I took so long to answer. I saw your message but then forgot to answer. Jesus didn't fulfill the messianic prophecies. Well, I think He did. And ever since He came, many Jews have been thinking the same. Why even use that adjective instead to the noun God? When you see "the divinity of Jesus", it means "the fact that Jesus is God". Oh, do you deny the God Jesus prayed to and pleaded with, that found him worthy, sent him, choose him, and whom Jesus called his God? How so ? That God you…

It's not about any Jewish "expectations", Christians just don't know what a messiah or messianic prophecies are. That's not necessarily true. We don't share your rabbi's interpretation of messianic prophecies. It does not mean that we do not know them. The Jews that believed Jesus sometimes had a decent grasp of messianic prophecies: some members of the Sanhedrin, some Levite priests and some other religious leaders the apostle Paul Jews from various synaguogues in Israel and in the Diaspora tha…

A human being that claimed to be the messiah. But I asked you a similar question. You didn't answer. I think I answered. I said because He created us for Him. Yeah, He claimed to be the Messiah. And He also claimed more than just that. For example: He claimed to be the Creator He claimed to be the way, the truth, the resurrection and the life (and that we would live eternally if we believed in Him) He claimed many more things which go beyond the Jews' expectations of their Messiah. And how did w…

You need to understand the terminology "Son of God". It means God came in flesh or God made man. Don't let the "A of X" formulation fool you; it is a bit like, "the person of Abraham Lincoln" or "the being of Abraham Limcoln" or "the spirit of Abraham Lincoln", they are just fancy and contextual ways to refer to... Abraham Lincoln ! Hope it helped.

It really works everyday. Even minutes ago, it happened: My two cousins and their common friend were discussing politics. I was not part of their discussion, I overheard it: Their common friend was flat out wrong and the two cousins were more interested in being nice than overtly calling out the guy's nonsense. So I went there. I had a raging urge to debate, honestly. But I did the "judge-like" performance described in OP's post. It was basically going over and saying "seems like you guys are no…

Honestly, I have yet to consider myself as a true and mature Christian. I cannot claim that I brought anyone to Christ. But God has been slowly drawing me my whole life and in the process, many other lives were drawn along: All the time I was in school then college, lots of my schoolmates woke up and got to seek Christ, partly because of me (their own testimony). Lots of younger friends also said that I have been their rolemodel in following Christ. My Christian friends also say that I hugely in…

Through Scripture. So do I believe too. I am trying to be a pure biblicist. My concern about the correct interpretation, including mine (I really want to nail it right and I fear otherwise) is not of atheistic or worldly origin; I really want to do exactly what God wants. And I really liked your 3rd paragraph (starting with "but that's just the thing"). Indeed, faith does not require absolute proof. I pray that God gives me enough faith to walk right. I agree with OP. But the problem still remains. While the Apostles were alive, it was quite simple for all believers of a geographical area to just gather and practice the teachings of Jesus, which the Apostles gave them. But after the Apostles' death, divergences will appear with no clear authority to settle. How do we know the teachings of Jesus and the Apostles ? How do we know which of the multiple interpretations out there are correct ? How do we sort out weed from wheat ? That's how confus…

If you love your brother, you want what is best for him so you can share with him what you find best, but with love and understanding that he is free with his own choices. By the way, are you trying to convert into Catholicism or Christianity ? For someone coming to a new religion, it makes more sense to figure out the religion itself before you can decide what specific denomination you will join. Good luck on your journey.

“Pray for us” Is a straight up plea That's a prayer ! You don't know what a prayer is ? A plea for some entity in heaven to hear you and do something in your favor is a prayer. Anyway, Mary, like all the other saints in Heaven, cannot hear those pleas as she is not omnipresent. The saints in heaven, including Mary, cannot even intercede or do any spiritual work for mankind (Jn 9:4, Ecc 9:5, Rev 14:13). Behold, only Jesus-Christ can intercede to the Father for mankind (1 Ti 2:5). a person who has…

I am pretty sure Catholics pray to Mary "Virgin Mary, Mother of God, pray for us, poor sinners" Is that a prayer to God through Mary or a prayer to Mary ? Be honest. A prayer to God through Mary would look like " Dear God, I come in the name of Mary or through Mary to pray for... " Anyway, Mary is not omnipresent so she cannot hear y'all. And there is only One who can hear all prayers and stand as intermediary between God and man: Jesus-Christ (1 Ti 2:5) By the way, Mary is a saint. How does tha…

She's holy like a saint So is any true and faithful Christian. Being holy or being a saint does not entitle anyone to receive prayers. Otherwise, we would be praying to each other. When dating young: The most important thing to take into account, you and the girl cannot estimate your compatibility yet. 16M you and 15F her can kinda like each other. But 28M you and 26F her may be completely different persons. When your spouse is in adultery (especially when unrepentant), you can rightfully divorce and remarry. I think, it is all you need as an answer. Now, "if she consents living with you", then you got to stay. According to Judaism, you are the spiritual head of the household, one of the implications being that you get the primary say in the kid's religious education. So it is ironic for her to want Jewish kids while not respecting the Jewish principles of marriage herself. But, my brother, allow me…
