" The only exception I might make is if she’s extraordinarily committed to making my life easier." This is the key. A woman CAN make your life easier. But modern programming for woman means that most women won't see that as their role and won't see that as how to keep a man. So it's tough to find one like that. However it's possible...they are out there. I'll also add that a woman who is close (doesn't already have strong feminist programming) can be taught by a man she she is drawn to.

The end game is that you find out if she is willing to put any effort into you. If she isn't, why would you stay with her? The crying and rants are shit tests that you are failing. She needs you to stand up to her. "is it the rare time to set a boundary?" Why would setting boundaries be a rare thing? You: I don't have time to drive to your place today. I have X, Y, and Z going on right now. Her: wailing, crying, ranting You: This isn't a discussion. I don't have time to drive to your place. I'd …

He sounds like a grouch! Of course he can do things for himself! Your offer isn't a suggestion otherwise. So, just do! As far as wanting his woman to be stone-faced...well, he wants what he wants. I know that isn't how women (and men, really) are. How do you feel about that?

You say you want to "keep your emotions in check". If you are saying that because you are out of control, then yes, by all means. But we don't expect our women to be stone faced stoics. I love to see my wife's emotions (even the negative ones when she needs them). How to make him happy? Big picture: make his life easier and more enjoyable. How? You probably know 20 things you can do to make his day a little smoother or more enjoyable. It could be as simple as making him coffee or wearing a dress…

Why did you put quotes around mothers helper? How do you generally get people to work for you without paying them?

I recommend this to every housewife that feels overwhelmed: Get a mother's helper. Find a young teenaged girl that will come over once or twice a week to play with the kids and do light tidying. The slime thing is just one of those things that happens when you take your eyes off the kids for a few minutes. Having a 14 year old girl come play with the kids for 3 hours a couple of times a week will be a cheap way to give you time to focus.on what you need to do and the peace of mind to do it (or j…

She expending her sexual energy on porn. She needs to stop, and you need to put your foot down. You should also look at the things she has been reading to get a sense of what she likes. I'm going to go ahead and guess that she is into the the dominant men in her erotic literature and fantasizes about being manhandled and broken/dominated like the women in those books. Start being dominant by ending her porn habit. She is going to kick and scream but inside she is going to enjoy being put in her …

1) don't feel bad that you are "failing". No one is perfect. 2) I suspect you are expecting too much of yours of re: meals. Sometimes a meal can be a couple of hardboiled eggs and grapes Generally my wife does one super quick meal per day, one "fancier" meal (probably the type of meals you are thinking). I don't mind having a meal like PBJ or hardboiled eggs once a day or even twice if I know she's busy. 3) talk to your husband about how you are feeling and ask him for his advice. That's his job…

Don't feel bad for your husband. He sees youre struggling and it's his job to figure this stuff out to support you. You can always talk to him, tell him you appreciate his support, and ask him to help you plan the work.

We hire a teenage girl to come play with the kids and do light chores (tidying w the kids, cleaning kitchen if the kids nap) once a week for 3-4 hours. It's cheap and gives my wife 4 hours to really focus on whatever she needs (or just rest)

Age isn't the issue. The issue is whatever led to your still being single at your age. Whatever those things are, you can change them, today, if you are willing to make big changes. Have the attitude that you have in the work world: when working toward a role or promotion, ask what kind of person the supervisor is looking for, and become that person. Same thing applies with men: what kind of women are men looking for? Then become that woman.

In general, adapting your look to suit your partner is wise, I think. If shows you care about his opinion and want to look attractive for him. But cutting your hair...THAT MUCH? For a boyfriend, not a husband? If you love your hair the way it is, I would say leave it. And he didn't ask you to do it or tell you to. You asked him what he liked and he told you, so he isn't being insistent. Although, you've now planted the seed haha. When I have a thought about how my wife would look hot in a certai…

It's continuing because you are letting it continue. She isn't experiencing any consequences. Your post is full of weak responses. You need to tell her how it's going to be. If she ever hits you again, or engages in other lunatic behavior (be very specific) it's a divorce. So she needs to problem solve on days 1-25 to figure out how she get through days 26-28 without being a lunatic. Her marriage depends on it. I think in person. Again, you're wanting to communicate how seriously you are taking your behavior. Better to over apologize and have your boyfriend reassure you, than under apologize and have him think you don't think it's a big deal.
/r/RedPillWomen02/07/24 09:09 PM

You should bring them up to your bf and apologize. I don't think they are a huge deal, but your BF should know he isn't with a self-centered potty-mouthed woman. If you don't say anything, he is left with the impression that you think this is acceptable behavior, and you don't think that. But you shouldn't stress too much about it. It's not THAT bad but is definitely worth an apology.

It is natural for sexual attraction to fade over time for anyone and for any couple. You and your husband are getting older, not younger If you have cancer, your physical attractiveness is the last thing that you or your husband will be worried about. Keep being a great wife, and keep putting your best effort into looking your best for him. TIme always wins, but you can always do the best with what you've got, beauty-wise and otherwise. My wife puts effort into looking her best for me every day,…

IMO the people saying that the year isn't up yet and be patient are being naive. Marriage CAN be instantaneous, but usually isn't. Pregnancy can take time. If he intended to impregnate her this year, they'd be married already. I also am not big on women giving men ultimatums but I think it's reasonable to say "you promised that we would be married and I'd be pregnant within a year. I trusted you but I haven't seen any movement on either of these, so I'm afraid that this isn't going to happen and…

If cooking is something he enjoys, your cooking for him allows him to do it WHEN he wants to do it. Yes, he loves cooking, but I'm sure there are times when he just doesn't feel like cooking or he'd rather do something else, or he just has other important ways he could be spending his time. Start cooking for him, and tell him, "I know you're so busy with work...I want to make your life easier. I would talk to your husband and tell him that you want to keep a great home for him, but you are struggling and exhausted, and don't have any time for yourself to rest and relax. Ask him to help you plan your day. Either he will see how overwhelmed you are and help you find solutions, or he will help you notice better ways to arrange your schedule. Source: my wife homeschools our kids and is always taking them to coops and park playdates etc.

1) don't have sex unless you are ready to get pregnant. 2) The rhythm method works to prevent pregnancy. Read "Taking charge of your fertility" by Toni Weschker. A slip up in discipline can lead to pregnancy though.

My wife and I were in the same boat. She knew how to boil pasta and that's about it. As our family grew she started working less and therefore took over more of the responsibilities. As of this year she has been cooking every meal for us and in these few months she has improved immensely. To emphasize perhaps the most important point in the OP, it isn't about making super complicated meals. A piece of meat, seasoned well and cooked well, is my idea of heaven. I have a local teenaged girl (who is good with kids) come to the house a couple afternoons a week for 2-3 hours to play with them and do a little tidying with them. It's a really cheap way to give my wife some time off, and she knows that she can use that time however she wants (chores, reading, nap, whatever she needs at that time). My wife stays at the house but is free to focus on what she needs or just relax.

Proverbs 13:24 does not command physical chastisement, but discipline. My reading of that passage is that "spare the rod" means "abdicate your authority" as the rod is a symbol of authority. Unless you hit your kids with a wooden or metal pole, you too are taking the rod to be a metaphor.

Look. More fucking ego from her retard of a father. Gotta get that respect yo No, more like, "If you don't show people respect, you are not going to be successful or liked." But keep projecting, like this entire reply. If the words of an eight year old gets under your skin, that sounds like a "you" problem.

My wife asked for help carrying the baby. She responded "Why don't you do it?" Having to check on her multiple times during her morning routine to find her off task. When she is corrected, argues. When using her computer for her schoolwork, watches YouTube instead of working then lies about it. This has happened multiple times. Yelling at my wife when she is frustrated. Telling me to get something rather than asking me with"please"

No, I'm not going to listen to my kid respectfully when she is yelling or being shitty. Being listened to respectfully is what you get when you speak respectfully. Thank you for the book recommendation. I think I saw this one before but I don't agree with medicalizing behavior problems (see Thomas Szasz "The myth of mental illness" however the reviews of this book are encouraging (one review in particular said "set the label aside and this book gives practical advice")

Do you have any advice on old literature that has worked for you (other than the Bible of course which we're both familiar with)? I've read a lot of parenting books but maybe the wrong books which is why I'm here.

Your reading does not refer to "physical chastisement generally. It refers specifically to using a rod. So unless you hit your children with a literal rod, you have quite a liberal interpretation of those bible passages. I'm confident with my reading of the bible (that the rod is a reference to a symbol of authority, not a command to physically strike children with a wooden or metal pole)

The books ive read are "The collapse of parenting" "How to talk so your kids will listen" "Hold on to your kids" "Ten ways to destroy the imagination of your child" "A landscape with dragons" Yes NMMNG does say that. I told you what the parenting books I've read said. What you've said is the "main issue" (that I view her as an enemy) couldn't possibly be more wrong. Rereading my OP, I have no idea what you read that led you to that. That I didn't say "it's important that she grow up to be a resp…

We have always interpreted these passages as referring to the rod that a shepherd uses to guide their flock, not a tool with which to strike people (the rod being a symbol of authority). These passages do not refer to "spanking" at any rate. My reading is that discipline and guidance are necessary, not that physical chastisement is commanded. https://www.crosswalk.com/faith/bible-study/what-does-spare-the-rod-spoil-the-child-mean.html I agree with you about the concern about her behavior poisoni…

I tried to be as clear as possible that I do not see my child as an enemy. My primary concern is that she is not going to have a good life if she doesn't learn how to treat people with respect. I've read multiple parenting books, most of which say to "logic her until she is no longer disrespectful" and to impose consequences on her behavior consistently (essays, time outs, taking away video games). I agree that raising my voice is modelling the behavior that I want her to avoid, which Is why I'v…

This is the one part that makes sense for me wrt spanking. The world isn't going to be kind and gentle to her when she is being a little shit. The world is going to slap the shit out of her. Same thing for boys that have never had their asses kicked. They don't understand the real life consequences of being an asshole. That said, society inflicts worse punishments than physical violence, especially for women.

I do actually care that's why I'm posting here asking for advice. I don't take the things kids say personally. Kids say stupid shit. I simply know that if I don't check this behavior that it's going to be worse and she is going to end up an 18 year old shrew.
