Most countries they aren't separate. However, US has the second oldest scouting organization (behind UK) and as such, the organizations were created separately and have remained separate. Most countries that created scouts later created just one organization for the World Brotherhood of Scouting. Source: also an Eagle Scout, read the history tent at the centennial jamboree

This is important; it lays out the fact that the reason it was not overturned on appeal was because the appeal was on the wrong grounds/did not provide burden for appeal. One hopes that if he had done the appeal correctly it would have caused the judgement to be overturned.

I think alimony is valid in some cases; the idea is that the non-working spouse has essentially given up their career advancement in order to provide a better home. This obviously isn't the case here, but it's very easy to imagine a situation where the husband keeps working and the wife stays home to take care of the children and keep the house in order; she's doing work and contributing to the marriage, but her career has effectively been cancelled. BOO, THIS ARTICLE IS WRITTEN LIKE IT IS FOR 4 YEAR OLDS, CONTAINS SHITTY DATA, AND ADDS NOTHING TO THE DISCUSSION. THIS SHOULD BE DOWNVOTED FOR PURELY SCIENTIFIC REASONS, BECAUSE THE SCIENCE IS BAD.

You seem to have misread the article (easy to do, it isn't clear) There are two separate cases being discussed: One in Louisiana, where a 15 y.o. girl raped three young boys, who was released to her parents. One in Georgia, where an 11 y.o. girl accused 3 boys of raping her (similar age, I believe), and those boys are still in juvenile jail. Honestly, I would say that the 15 y.o. should still be in jail, and so should the boys.

I did read it. And the links are to parts of a Wikipedia article that don't exist anymore. And the wikipedia article seems to have an overall positive view of circumcision. I asked, because I knew the people here would have evidence in the other direction, and I wanted to learn.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
