omeone who is purposely looking for a younger partner who will have to depend on them financially and hence less likely to be able to leave the relationship, that’s predatory. But that isn’t limited to age gap relationships. I agree with this. I think a lot of people don't analyze the situation and just think every "older" guy dating a younger woman is being predatory.

Completely agree , the amount of women with overweight, poor, nerdy or unemployed men is pretty high. Most men have a marketing problem not a problem with themselves as a person, they might try to ask one woman out to a date get rejected and think they have to be 6 foot 2 and jacked before they can get a girl friend.
