Sadly, we live in a world of competitive victimhood.

Invite them to all hang out together. See what happens. Have fun. If it implodes, so what - you will keep matching with new ones. At the very least it will be a fun night that will end with a life experience and story to tell.

I'm going to tell you the truth rather than just downvote you. Your post makes you sound like a whiny, meek, pessimistic, scarcity-minded, low self-esteem pussy. So I will assume that's the vibe you're putting out in general. Have some fucking confidence - quite crying about what other people are getting and go out and get what you want.

This could be good for a girl you're in a relationship with but if we're talking about a first date: (1) "out to eat" is a terrible first date and (2) just decide where you want to take her and take her there.

From an ethical standpoint, I'm not sure you should ask a student out while the class is still ongoing. Consider waiting until after the semester. As far as the fear of being judged, what I've found is that most guys will respect you for having the balls to approach. If they try to clown you, it's just to reinforce their own beliefs and justify why they didn't approach. Nothing feels better, though, than seeing a bunch of dudes standing around obviously checking a girl out, and then you actually…

I'm assuming you're really young but, does the man you want to be refer to himself as having a "crush"? It sounds like a childish and scarcity mentality. If you're truly moving on, why waste your time posting this and replying? Good for that other guy; now go get laid.

That's what I assumed, to which I wanted to point out, it is not an opener.

It's an irrational fear similar to public speaking. You can use various techniques to get you to the point where you will get up and do it but there's a difference between the timid first time and the performance of a confident, experienced, and polished public speaker.

What he/she said is silly. Of course you can reduce anxious feelings. We can control our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. They're the only things we actually can control. Anxiety is a symptom of not being able to control your mind. People overcome anxiety everyday using a wide range of techniques (i.e., self hypnosis, breathing techniques, etc). There is plenty of information out there on how to overcome fears and anxiety. That being said, don't wait until you feel 100% free of fear or anxiety…

That second dude was nervous as hell. Friendly tip: You might want to block the girls' faces. If they don't sign release forms, you could have a legal issue, especially since you're promoting your commercial website.

Wait a few hours or a day or whatever. Next time you text her ask her out for when you get back. The end of the month is only 10 days away.

Why are you conversing so much online? Ask her out. Set a date. Meanwhile, don't reply right away - wait awhile before you reply and stay busy talking to other girls.

I love comedy shows, I've been to tons. I average one a month. I've taken dates to comedy shows, but I think it is a bad first date because it is inefficient use of your time. Whether it is at the beginning, in the middle, or at the end of the date, you're talking about spending a couple of hours in which you are not able to build rapport, build comfort, increase her attraction to you, seduce her in any way, or qualify her to see if she's someone you're interested in seeing again. I don't want t…

Chuck-E-Cheese is a funny one. Most serve beer and wine and have cheap kids food. It's silly being the only 2 adults there that don't have kids. Rollerskating can also be pretty fun. You're most likely going to be holding onto each other and running into each other just to stop from falling on your ass. You're going to fall on your ass too and laugh about it.

How is this the top comment? I couldn't disagree more. You can't talk during a comedy show. Why is that a good date?

Can definitely relate and the responses so far all seem good. I mix it up. I've found that your regular girls want to have some time with you on weekends, so usually one weekend night per week I will hang with one of my regulars. The other weekend night I go out with my boys to meet new ones. I love a Sunday funday bar scene too. Don't forget that weekday nights are good for going out too. Even if you have to work early, you can hit a happy hour and/or go home early. Some of my best nights have …

I had to check your history just to see if you were a troll. This is an astronomically bad opener. This sounds like a line some virgin douche would yell at a girl walking down the street just to make his douche friends laugh. Even if we ignore the extremely juvenile "punchline" (which is difficult because it is soooooo cringe worthy) the premise is stupid. Why would she need a ride? Is she at a bus stop?

Everything doesn't have to be so serious, man. If you had to eat one food item for the rest of your life, what would it be? Why? There are plenty of food sources out there. One food item would not provide the necessary nutritional requirements...blah, blah, blah

It's not that. It's just that sometimes people act weird/different when they owe someone money, regardless of whether both people are certain it will be repaid on time.

Keep the loan and the seduction separate. I wouldn't wait too long but hit her with a text to set up a date. Don't bring up the loan. If she is any kind of decent person, she will bring it up and tell you when she'll pay you back, etc. If she misses a deadline for paying you back, then you can hit her up about the money. A lot times people get weird when they borrow/loan money. She might have avoided talking to you bc she was worried it'd be awkward until she pays you back. Don't overthink it. P…

That question is basically what this entire sub is dedicated to. It's way too broad of a question. There are so many variables and techniques to approaching women. Start reading and/or watching videos and go out and apply what you lean. Then adjust based on your experience.

The irony. I can't downvote this enough.

I don't think that anything you posted is a direct contradiction per se when taken with context. I agree that some people will just spit out broad generalizations like, "Don't get the number, get an insta-date." That's obviously not always a possibility or ideal for obvious reasons (i.e., You have shit to do, she has shit to do, etc). If I'm on my way to a meeting or whatever and I approach a woman, I will have to get the number and arrange a first date for another time. On the other hand, I don…

A lot of people on here saying it's all mental without knowing the necessary details (although, I also suspect it is). Can you get it up other times (masturbation, etc)? If so, can you get it up on alcohol and meds? If the answer is yes to both of those, then it's almost certainly psychological. I've dealt with it by focusing on being present in the moment and silencing the voice in my head. Since you have anxiety, I would hope that you've developed (or are developing) these types of skills alre…

Yes, it absolutely works. Unlike the other commenters(?), though, I didn't think it took very long at all to see success. It takes awhile to get really good at it, but you'd be surprised just how well you will do just by going out and trying it. Just applying yourself will get you results. What works for you may be different than what works for me. We're different people with different personalities. Go out and try stuff - see what works for you.

I can assure you that any bad feelings you may have from a girl declining your approach will never match what you are feeling (or what you felt) when you realized that you are/were too scared to talk to a girl. Also, I think you will find that (especially early on) even when a girl does turn you down, you will feel proud in overcoming such a strong emotional fear. It's like jumping off the high dive for the first time. Just fucking do it. Don't think about it. It will be exhilarating. Lastly, re…
