I’m a distance runner so my goal is to build up lean muscle. That’s basically what I meant in my comment was that gaining mass isn’t the only way to exercise your mind and body and feel good about both.

I’m not convinced. Spending all of that time morphing your body with the intention of getting people to respect you, want to fuck you, or be intimidated by you does not seem very healthy to me, even if it works.
