Thing is, people know not to commit crimes. That's why they're done with guns or in secret. Trash commit crimes either way.

That's not the point, my dude. We were talking about leaving the room if wife/girlfriend was watching someone we didn't want to watch. Not that it was necessarily something I morally objected to.
/r/MensRights26/12/20 10:26 AM
1

No one said "storm out". Huge assumption there, mate. If my wife is watching something I don't want to watch, I leave the room or put on headphones while I do something else. I'm sure this exact scenario happens more often than never. I'm not sure if you're being willfully asinine or if you only own one TV and have a very limited imagination. Either way, it's crazy you're willing to die on such a tiny hill.
/r/MensRights26/12/20 10:14 AM

If you wife gets mad because you don't want to watch movies with her, I got news for you: It ain't healthy. 🤷‍♂️

Either you're very young or you've only had shitty, toxic relationships. Good luck man. A healthy relationship doesn't mean you need to give up your interests or disinterests just because a broad puts out.

To be fair, a lot of man hating type of feminists don't believe in transgender folks. r/gendercritical despises trans rights and demand the dropping of the 't' from lgbtq.

It's a hate sub. It's not satire. Read the comments. Hell, pick any user there and view there comments on other subs. It's bitter, man hating at best.

You know what? Fair points. Upvoted. E: The downvotes show why we can't be taken seriously, guys. Yeah, both bathrooms should be gender neutral or coed, that's not a big deal. You get privacy in stalls. Downvoting good points or comments that foster discussion is just poor form.

Men are entitled to their privacy just as much as women, dude. E: Y'all will probably wanna stop upvoting when you read my comment further down.

Downvote me, but I see this as a mental health issue, not men's rights. The woman had been abused for years and had massive mental trauma.

It matters because we need to be seen as more than just a fringe movement as many view us. Being laughed at or condemned by the masses, does not help us in any of our fights.
/r/MensRights02/10/19 03:38 AM
4

Nah,man. It's just that we are exiled when people find out we post here. Our opinions become null when they see we've commented here. We are called incels and sexists assholes just for calling attention to any real issues men face. With the kind of humour you used, especially the implied rape connotation, it just gives the people who ignore us more credence to do so. You do you, as they say, but that attitude, even if just a joke, is a huge part of why we aren't taken seriously. Just think about…
/r/MensRights01/10/19 06:30 AM

Not the right attitude for this sub, bud.

That sub has devolved over the past couple years. Went from showing hypocrisy to damn near a hate sub.
/r/MensRights07/09/19 02:53 AM
1

Sad.
/r/MensRights07/09/19 02:52 AM
3

Labia, clit hoods, fat folds, and under boobs can also produce smegma. This is not a uniquely male issue, it's a hygiene issue you dolt.
/r/MensRights07/09/19 02:51 AM
4

Yes it is. It's taking away a choice that should be made about a man's body by the man who's connected to the penis.
/r/MensRights07/09/19 02:50 AM
20

Jesus Christ I have to wonder how much energy it takes to hate your own gender?
/r/MensRights06/09/19 04:21 PM
7

Exactly.
/r/MensRights28/08/19 01:36 AM
32

What
/r/MensRights28/08/19 01:29 AM
1

Exactly. It's just you know as well as I do, that the production of smegma is considered to be a male problem, not a dirty human problem. People make fun of uncut men based on this idea, that only foreskins produce smegma.
/r/MensRights25/08/19 01:16 AM
2

My bad, tone was lost. Also, keeping in mind a lot of arguments for butchering a baby's penis speaks of cleanliness and smegma, as if smegma is uniquely a 'penile' issue when, in fact, smegma develops in folds of fat in obese people and between the folds of the labia of women as well. Of course, an issue with smegma isn't just because foreskin, labia, or fat folds, but a question of cleanliness in general.
/r/MensRights25/08/19 01:13 AM
4

Neither do uncut guys if they shower daily.

8

I'll do you one better, what would happen if you sat directly on the bag?
/r/MensRights30/07/19 11:18 PM
1

That's a thing with any labia if they aren't washing themselves.
/r/MensRights10/07/19 05:36 PM
7

No, I'm saying human bodies are disgusting if you don't wash them properly.
/r/MensRights10/07/19 05:36 PM
9

It's an added seconds of washing for Christ's sake haha
/r/MensRights10/07/19 12:42 AM
59

I love how people mock uncut men because "smegma" but obese feminists don't bat an eye at the smegma that is produced in rolls of fat or in the folds of labia. 🤷‍♂️
/r/MensRights09/07/19 10:42 PM
1

Whelp. Looks like I saw what I wanted to see. I concede, you guys are right. I'm use to reading about straight men this and straight men that. Apologies.
/r/MensRights09/07/19 10:37 PM

Here's some reading to familiarize yourself. the tweet we see here is drawing comparisons to tweets society wouldn't find acceptable.

Way wrong on my part. I agree with the others.
/r/MensRights09/07/19 09:40 PM

So many people say this about straight, white men. All over tumblr and Twitter. (Edit) I concede. Misread and am use to seeing nonsense about "straight men". Saw what I wanted to see.

And more hate speech on women. Nice. Reported.
/r/MensRights01/07/19 01:53 PM
3

Again with the dangerous shit a lot of men had to deal with for years. "Man up". Men are allowed their feelings. Men are allowed their pain. Morons like you are part of the reason men commit suicide at the rates they do.
/r/MensRights01/07/19 01:48 PM

/r/MensRights25/06/19 06:33 AM

Teens know what they do is either right or wrong. That's why some teenagers can be charged as an adult. Also, no he didn't think he was going to kill a man, but that's why there's involuntary manslaughter charges. The dude died as a direct result of an attack. What other reason is there for someone to make up a bullshit story, then call her brother to come help her?
/r/MensRights11/05/19 12:01 AM
16

We're told of the boy who cried wolf from a super young age to show just how bad telling lies can be. The boy didn't charge the man, he tackled him. They likened it to a line back tackle which is a crazy hard hit. The girl just randomly made some shit up obviously to start trouble. Being a minor doesn't excuse the fact that a man is needlessly dead now. They both need to be charged. (Edit) Wolf, not would
/r/MensRights10/05/19 10:37 PM
1

Oh, fair enough and makes sense. I edited my edit. Thanks for clearing it up for me.
/r/MensRights07/05/19 07:30 PM

Ah! Why are you guys banning 90%?
/r/MensRights07/05/19 07:20 PM

I'm sorry, I don't understand what you mean.
/r/MensRights07/05/19 07:17 PM

2

What the fuck are you talking about?
/r/MensRights06/05/19 10:51 PM
3

That's a bad take, friend. What other people do in their bedroom shouldn't be our concern.
/r/MensRights06/05/19 05:29 PM
1

Got the message the first time
/r/MensRights06/05/19 05:12 PM
3

I don't get it. I can get into a discussion with a feminist in person and have changed views or at least made them think about things like MGM, custody, homeless rates, etc. You get em here and there's just NO chance for civil discussion or the slight possibility that men have it bad in some ways.
/r/MensRights06/05/19 04:58 PM
2

I'd understand more if the comment I was replying to was in a feminist sub, but I wasn't.
/r/MensRights06/05/19 04:49 PM
4

Mgtow is a little too dangerously similar to r/gendercritical for my tastes, my friend.
/r/MensRights06/05/19 04:40 PM
12

No idea. I asked someone what the definition of a fuckboy was, they equated it to slut. So I asked why shaming a man, but not shaming a woman is okay. That's when it started.
/r/MensRights06/05/19 04:30 PM
3

My experience with mgtow and redpill has been pretty militant against women. Has that changed?
/r/MensRights06/05/19 04:28 PM
24

It's fucking amazing. People here men's rights or see a point brought up against hypocritical attitudes towards men and they call you all sorts of names. Asked if they had been to the sub, and all I get back is a dry "oh, I know what it's about". Horseshit. If you knew you wouldn't be attacking me as you did
/r/MensRights06/05/19 04:27 PM
9

I was already attacked a couple times this morning when they went digging through my history. Felt real good to be called names and likened to the god damn KKK of all things.
/r/MensRights06/05/19 04:23 PM
32

I've been called an idiot multiple times in r/sex just this morning. Hell, this sub has been compared to the KKK, maga, etc.
/r/MensRights06/05/19 04:22 PM
7

Why not let people do what they want without the shaming? Who gives a shit if it's their life?
/r/MensRights06/05/19 04:01 PM
6

This is why this sub isn't taken seriously
/r/MensRights06/05/19 01:50 PM
2

Is r/gendercritical on there?
/r/MensRights06/05/19 01:48 PM
2

Good. I can't believe it's still up.
/r/MensRights06/05/19 08:01 AM
3

Report it if you feel that way. I did.
/r/MensRights06/05/19 03:25 AM
5

It's a literal hate group.
/r/MensRights05/05/19 11:31 PM
3

Yup. Already did
/r/MensRights05/05/19 11:30 PM
3

Oh, yeah. The lot of them think that porn is 'rape on tape'.
/r/MensRights05/05/19 07:24 PM
1

Just read this and I'm agog at the hypocrisy
/r/MensRights05/05/19 06:53 PM
9

Every couple of years I re-discover r/gendercritical and each and every time I am more and more fascinated as to why it's still up. Reading through a lot of those posts and it's a frog's hair away from being a full-on hate group.
/r/MensRights05/05/19 06:51 PM
5

Cool story, bro.
/r/MensRights05/05/19 06:01 PM
7

I've had jobs where a coworker (male) was paid more. Other jobs, I was paid more (as a male). The reason why my coworker got paid more is because he bargained for it. I learned how to bargain in a different job and got paid more because of it. That's the way it should be.
/r/MensRights05/05/19 10:13 AM
8

I just came across your comment and asked my question. Up to you to answer it
/r/MensRights05/05/19 10:10 AM
7

Can I ask if the majority of feminists are for gender equality, why not use the more approachable term 'egalitarian'?
/r/MensRights05/05/19 09:44 AM
4

Tf are you talking about? It's referring to an illicit affair. The affair being their coupling. Not the multiple 'events' of rape.
/r/MensRights04/05/19 03:34 AM
8

Or you could look up the first and second definitions of the word. It's not that difficult to grasp
/r/MensRights03/05/19 08:55 PM
13

Yeah, an affair in the context you listed means an event. An affair when referring to a coupling is a romantic nature. Two different definitions
/r/MensRights03/05/19 08:23 PM

Missed the point, boo.

/r/MensRights06/03/19 02:16 AM
5

No I was mistaken. She said A Wrinkle In Time wasn't made for men and doesn't need a white man to tell her about it. Of course, by this I take it as her saying Captain Marvel wasn't made for white men, etc.
/r/MensRights05/03/19 07:00 PM

Sure, I'll take a look after work if someone doesn't beat me to it
/r/MensRights05/03/19 05:09 PM

Didn't she also say this movie isn't for white men and doesn't care if they like it?
/r/MensRights05/03/19 04:46 PM

Someone linked below showing men hold the majority.

/r/MensRights04/03/19 05:15 PM

Is there a link for that about women committing 80% of fraud?
/r/MensRights04/03/19 03:19 PM

MGTOW is a pretty dangerous movement the last I peeked in on that sub.
/r/MensRights26/02/19 12:19 AM

(Edit) Welp. I guess this isn't the sub for me anymore.
/r/PussyPassDenied02/10/18 11:17 PM

And it's trending on Twitter.
/r/MensRights01/10/18 10:21 PM
2

So tell me: What is manslaughter and why/when is it used?
/r/MensRights30/07/18 10:44 PM
5

I didn't bring up anything on sex, pal. In a lot of cases, people can be charged for manslaughter (personslaughter for the sake of being 'woke') if they kill someone accidentally. Not excusing the dude because he's a he.
/r/MensRights30/07/18 06:31 PM
13

Manslaughter works here, yes?
/r/MensRights30/07/18 05:14 PM

hahaha Get out of here dude.
/r/PussyPassDenied21/05/18 12:40 PM

Yes, yes you are.
/r/PussyPassDenied21/05/18 12:12 PM

/r/MensRights09/05/18 05:10 PM

But they have conditions, bro. They can't help it.
/r/MensRights09/05/18 05:05 PM
7

What a cunt.
/r/MensRights09/05/18 04:47 PM
10

Post on r/mensrights also!
/r/PussyPassDenied30/04/18 05:08 AM
1

Did you actually read it? Because it doesn't sound negative or bad at all. It's basically saying that negative mental health can become an issue if we hear and have learned we need to "man-up", be bread winners, and support others. How it's written makes me think they want guys to feel like they can have emotions, and that they don't have to fill a mold they may not want to fill.

I dunno. For me if a person finds a way to make it a point to say, "I'm a feminist" before I know them well, I feel the need to out my defenses up immediately. I'm a white guy, so I'm never sure which way that conversation is going to go.

Sure, but considering the common interpretation of that word, are people typically brave enough to ask?

Just like a lot of other nonsense, they actively looking for shit to complain about or ban.

That's because there is no problem, only a perceived problem to have something to complain about.

I can't stand the broad any way she's presented. Porn star? Dead fish and unenthused. Social media? Baits men then calls them out for falling for it. She's a garbage person all around and this just adds to it.

Related question: does this work on abortions? More to the point: Probably just getting the word out there, protests, law propasals, etc.

No, I don't want a ton of Facebook inspired stuff. However, it was a quick post about how he felt after viewing a pretty solid movie documenting our issues as men. If it can be summed up in a single image, what's the harm so long as we aren't flooded by them?

Thanks, man. You make several well read points. Expanding on the garbage man analogy is totally perfect. And on the point that women are seen as sex object and men as success objects: that just blew my mind. It's so true. I have to wonder how these anti-porn folks would respond to such a perfect parallel. To make the argument that women have had disembodied phalli whereas men want the whole package is also an amazing argument. Again, I never thought of that either. There was a post in this sub l…

Excellent points. I have never thought about it from that point of view. Someone else also made a very similar, expanded point. Now I can approach this aspect when and if I get into another debate about it. Thank you for the response!

Be careful with recording without knowing the laws where you live. In some states, unknown recordings fall into the realm of warrantless wiretapping and can get you into heaps of trouble.

Thanks so much for this. Posting and trying to even get the opportunity for discussion was beyond difficult, as they just completely shut me down. Not once did they ask why I posted, what I meant, what I thought. Just, "no, that's stupid and not worth conversing about." It was kind of disheartening, too, to come here and get accused of being a troll again. Maybe I didn't word things right (on mobile and tired as hell), but still. Came looking for solidarity, opinions, links to articles, etc and …

Excellent response and thank you for your time. The thread I mentioned here just had me so on edge just because of how closed minded it was. Boiling it down the saying, "I don't like to think critically of my own views". Stonewalling in the extreme.

I guess I was looking for solidarity and to open a dialogue on how to combat idiots in the wild who think women=victim and men=aggressor. I've edited my initial post, also.

So there's no hope in having a civilized conversation with these folks. It just sucks, man. It's one of the most ignorant and irritating things I've seen people do (I disagree and won't hear of your opinion, be gone!).

/r/MensRights12/03/18 04:51 AM

I am well versed in those cases! (That gave me a chuckle!). With all of this said: How does one go about gaining ground with the people who argue that way? A prime example is in the link to the thread. Someone posted that, yes without a doubt, porn objectifies women and skewers the male mind. In response, I say, "Some people argue that men are objectified, as they aren't seen as the woman is". I get called a troll, stupid, and that my comment isn't worth responding to. You should really check ou…

I fall on the side that porn doesn't objectify. I'm trying to find good counterpoints that only women can be objectified in porn. Great garbage man analogy, I'll have to adopt that! (Edit) Also, shit. I'm trying to find counterpoints when people say porn only objectifies women
/r/MensRights12/03/18 04:25 AM

In this instance I agree, but the counter argument most people would use is that women are seen as pieces for men to use for their pleasure. How does this translate into men being tools for women's pleasure in the same way?
/r/MensRights12/03/18 04:24 AM
6

Sure, but some people see women in porn as victims and that porn damages men's minds in the way they view women. I fall on the side that porn doesn't objectify people and that, if women can be objectified, why isn't that true for men?
/r/MensRights12/03/18 04:23 AM

But do you think that men can be objectified?

I have no care what other people do when it's amongst consenting adults, too. I posted this here because women are always victims and men are always aggressors and always at fault in the eyes of a lot of folks.

I agree here on the non offending pedophile comment. They need counseling and help; what kind of hell do they live in never finding the love or sex they most need? They know it's wrong and can't help but find what they find attractive. Even acting pedophiles should receive deep psychiatric help because at every level, everyone knows this behavior is ill.

Not sure why you got down voted. I remember seeing an article years ago about a growing number of college age folks wanting to extend the time of abortion to after birth. It was a very controversial article and opinion. I'll try to find it for anyone who may want to read it. (Edit) Looks like the article I mentioned was satire or just plain false. Apologies to any ruffled feathers!
