Its nowhere near a niche at this point. Its become and only becoming more mainstream. The issue is that shonen/shoujo and studio ghibli type movies etc are the ones getting the spotlight.

Strong disagree. It’s about how and knowing when to use emoji’s. The example you gave shows when to not use them.

You're ignoring the role of external factors that maybe beyond the individuals control.

Except you’ve proven yourself to be childish by making a big deal out of it yourself

You are chatting complete shit. High self esteem refers to holding yourself in positive regard, and facilitates coping whilst boosting your overall wellbeing among other POSITIVE outcomes. Narcissism refers to a pretense in holding yourself in positive regard while behind closed doors you actually suffer from low self esteem. Get your facts right.

That’s not high self esteem. That’s narcissism. Jesus Christ, do you even read?

You’re older than him by a year. Doesn’t make a fucking difference.

Except there aren't equal numbers of men and women lol.... Women outnumber men globally

They don't SOLELY rely on looks, but looks are still a factor nonetheless. Otherwise height wouldn't be such an issue. You're capping.

Having the ability to get something almost whenever you want is a privilege, period. Regardless of what that thing is. Of course you're not going to care much about something you can get with minimum effort, but that is due to having said privilege/opportunity to do so in the first place lol. That's the essential difference here.... Opportunity, which in turn leads to attitude towards said thing you want.

Facts upon facts bro. Nice to meet a fellow black man in london who shares in these views.

Yeah I hear that. I have heard some women mention this sort of thing a couple times amongst dating in the black community especially. One black chick in a room on clubhouse 2 days ago, mentioned how she once decided to pay for a guy after he had paid a few times only for it to not work out. So she decided form that encounter she wouldn't do it again. I was baffled 😂🥴🤦🏾‍♂️

That has been the motive my bro for the past couple of months. I love phone calls, though I have a bad habit of just sticking to texting sometimes.

I'd say that, or lack of being taught how to handle money (applies to both men and women really) as well as a lack of being held accountable, being coddled/babied and giving what they want when they wanted it with minimal consequence.

Its true but the reality is alot still won't. I guess to some this is wishful thinking lol

From what I've read the issue isn't so much being poor as against good financial management skills and financial responsibility. And no doubt someone who has awareness of the importance of health care etc, or willing to learn about these things. What was his employment situation at the time you first met and during the relationship? And was he open with you about where his money was going? Also splitting 50/50 isn't a bad thing when it comes to dating. However a more ideal method would be treati…

How poor are we talking? Poor as in he couldn't even look after himself financially? Poor as in he could look after himself but couldn't get you nice things or do things for you? Or poor as in he had little to no job prospects and he was financially dependant on you or others?

Well most women in UK are not living on their own and are either living with family or a partner. If they're on their own, more times its because of government assistance as a result of being a single mom among other things. And decent man is a very vague term with the numerous amount of women who claim to want such a thing, and end up in less than stellar relationships lol.

Women are definitely doing this more often. I speak from experience as someone who has had women approach me first via Facebook messenger, tinder or a few other social media dating apps over the last decade. If it's not happening to other men, it's because they're not seen as attractive or interesting enough which isn't entirely the fault of said men. The irony is that you'll also get women giving out backhanded compliments like "I'm sure you say that to all the girls/I bet you get alot of women…

You probably had things which compensated for lack of money (charisma, good looks, humour, sociability), alongside those women you met being a bit more wholesome possibly. Ive been similarly lucky, although eventually money will become an issue. I would say the issue of women being shallow regarding money depends on various factors like ethnic and socio economic background, personality and that person's relationship history. Plus some women can be very deceptive in expressing their attitude arou…

This is even more annoying on dating apps where woman will do this exact thing. I've made it a general point to tell women that either we continue talking on said dating app for a while before getting a number when they feel comfortable, or just outright asking for their number on my own initiative or when they try to offer socials. It's not worth any man's (or woman's for that matter) time chatting up a person on a dating app, only to end up doing the same thing via another social media platfor…

It would help them stop getting in the way of what they claim to want for one, through recognising their own hypocrisy and egotism. And it would also prevent them from staying in relationships that are otherwise unhealthy for them, let alone keeping in contact with people that are otherwise toxic for them.

Women need to take responsibility still for making irrational generalisations, and failing to recognise how these set them back.

This does depend on the girl though for the most part. If you are able to recognise the type of girl you're dealing with, you'll know whether this approach is going to work 100% or backfire. At that point you have to decide if she's worth a slow burner approach or to just move on. I agree more with the 3-4 dates point, than going on a date after 1 week of getting the number.

Very true. I can admit I sway between alpha and beta at times due to my upbringing and conditioning which has limited my interaction with women within the sphere of dating (for better or worse lol) as well as caused other problems. It's getting better though.

The only way out as someone else mentioned, is to show that you are still someone of sexual/romantic value through discussion of dates/sex as a topic, as well as keeping contact friendly and open (not mandatory but can help depending on the situation), but at minimum frequency from your end. Basically treat her like any other human being whilst living your life to the fullest and not focusing on your feelings for the person.

Being "nice" can involve manipulation, deceit, and pleasing to receive for peace of mind. So yeah it's not always as straightforward as you put it.

Again, irrelevant comment. He simply talked about the nature of shit testing, how to respond, and the flaws. He never talked about when it happens or how it happens. So your comment makes no sense.

Your challenge would have made more sense if this was a post complaining about women shit testing all the time. The post is about the nature of shit testing, not the frequency. So again, pretty irrelevant comment.

I can testify to that last sentence 100%. A strong man in this situation may initially succeed, but there's a good chance overtime he will become overwhelmed or lose his frame the more he is pushed.

But that's not what the post is about, so your comment is pretty irrelevant.

The problem here is clearly you, and you have issues taking accountability or applying what you have learned it seems. And I say this as someone who has attachment and anxiety issues.

Sounds like you're just a fatalist with bad luck tbh.

Wearing expensive clothes can equally be a sign of having low self esteem as much as having high self esteem. It's a matter of the person who is wearing the clothes and their intentions as against the clothes themselves.

Exactly. The average woman will make concessions for men if they find said man attractive, as will a man for women they find attractive.
