Tons of major downsides and it's literally slicing off the outside of the penis with no anesthetic. He'd have a point if he just kept to adults making the choice themselves. Then you can rationalize it however you want and go mutilate yourself for all I care. But to act so smug about forcing it on kids and saying it's just culture to automatically make at best a cosmetic surgery (what these lunatics usually lean towards), at worst horrible mutilation (what I think), either way it's not acceptable.
