| -16 | a recently released episode of cobra kai showed a male character drinking for the first time and then being assaulted. this was a writer’s response.Certainly yes, but that's all decisions you made. With drunk sex there is a second party making decisions, that's the difference. | /r/MensRights | 21/11/24 12:33 AM |
a recently released episode of cobra kai showed a male character drinking for the first time and then being assaulted. this was a writer’s response.Thats a really bad take. If both parties are drinking, that's one thing, but intentionally getting someone drunk for the purpose of getting them to do something they wouldn't normally agree to is predatory regardless of the perpetrator or the victim. | /r/MensRights | 20/11/24 09:56 PM
I am a member of the Boy Scouts of America and I'm not a fan of girls joining.Idk how i feel about this. I was definitely with you a few years ago, but after meeting some international scouts at a camp I worked at I realized nearly every other scouting organization in the world is co-ed and its not a problem. | /r/MensRights | 04/10/23 11:07 PM
Sidewalks are now sexist. Top post today on TwoX has poster claiming she will move over for anyone on a sidewalk except for single men. Why, because it’s Friday and it’s men suck day. This just... isn't a gendered issue. At all. As someone who bikes regularly all types of people don't get out of the way, men, women, children, young adults, middle aged people, dogs, geese, doesn't matter. It is your job to be as courteous as possible and not stoop to the level of people who won't get out of the way. Just go around them and move on. | /r/MensRights | 10/12/21 08:48 PM
Wow, what logic!Whether you like him or not (which you obviously dont) he was president of the US for 4 years, and has been unbelievably rich and powerful for most of his life. He is on top whether you like it or not. | /r/MensRights | 13/09/21 11:25 AM
| -4 | In Ireland, women will get equal pay to men despite the female football having much lower audience and gaining much lower revenue...the meaning of injustice...So you don't want there to be separate leagues? What are you saying. | /r/MensRights | 08/09/21 11:10 AM |
| -7 | In Ireland, women will get equal pay to men despite the female football having much lower audience and gaining much lower revenue...the meaning of injustice...Man that's why we have leagues come on. Of course I know they wouldn't have won against the men's team but you HAVE to know that's not what I'm saying. All I'm saying is they get the short end of the advertising stick and that's fucked up. | /r/MensRights | 08/09/21 11:09 AM |
| -9 | In Ireland, women will get equal pay to men despite the female football having much lower audience and gaining much lower revenue...the meaning of injustice...Part of the issue in general is that it's a self fulfilling prophecy. The WNBA doesn't get as large audiences so they get less marketing and money thrown at the players, so less people pay attention to the games, etc. Not disagreeing with the initial point, just pointing out that it's unfortunate that we are in thus position to begin with. At my college I much preferred the women's basketball games over the men's cause the team routinely performed far better than the men's but only got a fractio… | /r/MensRights | 08/09/21 03:14 AM |
I don’t even know how to react to thisThe biggest issue right now is that the 40 hour work week was designed around having one parent work full time and the other stay at home. When this balance is upset and both partners are expected to somehow work and take care of home chores it gets overwhelming. The 40 hour work week is a relic of the past and should be significantly reduced. | /r/MensRights | 03/09/21 04:04 PM
The hatred for Men in media is insane. CNN now reports that Men have a bigger carbon footprint than women, because of cars and meat of course.I'm actually subscribed to all 4 (mensrights, menslib, feminism, and TwoX) and while I often find myself rolling my eyes at posts on the latter two (and I'm pretty sure I'm banned from both) I do still like to get a variety of perspectives cause sometimes there are posts that surprise me | /r/MensRights | 27/07/21 07:28 PM
Switching the rolesI’m afraid I have to agree with a couple other people in this thread, I don’t like this type of post. The only person calling it sexist is OP as far as we know, and it serves no real purpose other than tearing down a strawman argument. It makes the subreddit, and the movement as a whole, look bad if I’m being honest. | /r/MensRights | 18/05/20 03:23 PM
Alabama bill would criminalize false rape accusations...Good on you, Alabama! No. Yes the standards for being found guilty of rape need to be changed, but there must be definitive proof otherwise nobody will come forward for legitimate cases of rape. | /r/MensRights | 23/04/20 06:59 PM
Alabama bill would criminalize false rape accusations...Good on you, Alabama! This is good but it needs to be worded carefully so that it only punishes those whose allegations are proven false, not those that are not proven true. There’s a big difference and the latter is very bad. | /r/MensRights | 23/04/20 06:33 PM
What are your thoughts on titles like these? I think they are nothing but negative.Ah see they must have cut off the rest of the sentence. It should real “mental health services and the terrible job they do at solving problems in the US” | /r/MensRights | 08/08/19 04:49 PM
Boys in Girl Scouts? "Absolutely not. We are a girl only organization." - Girl Scouts CEOI don’t think it was forced though. Venture crews and sea scouts have existed in the US for years and they are both co-ed. In addition, nearly every other country in the world with a scouting program has been co-ed for years as well. It was really the next natural step. | /r/MensRights | 04/08/19 04:34 PM
| -2 | MLK agrees. Feminism is cancer.Well this sub tends to focus on American and European issues, which is different than r/feminism. I was pointing out a difference in the comparison | /r/MensRights | 07/07/19 03:58 PM |
| -4 | MLK agrees. Feminism is cancer.r/feminism also posts a lot about international issues, where women do face legal discrimination and rampant sexism | /r/MensRights | 07/07/19 03:31 PM |
Stop Amazon From Selling The "Boys Are Stupid Throw Rocks At Them" T ShirtNormally yes but this is technically encouraging violent crime, which is where I draw the line | /r/MensRights | 02/07/19 02:20 AM
Alabama Passing Law to Make False Rape Accusations a CrimeIt is but it’s filed under different laws like obstructing justice or wasting police time | /r/MensRights | 24/05/19 03:10 PM
Breitbart.com got it right: "Texas Teacher's Aide Gets 60 Years for Repeatedly Raping 11-Year-Old."I despise upvoting breitbart articles but at least the headline is accurate for once. | /r/MensRights | 23/05/19 02:47 PM
The way this guy says explains it is perfectYeah that much is true, but I think the idea is that men have no say in abortions but would still have to pay child support if the child is born. | /r/MensRights | 19/05/19 05:24 AM
Why don't you leave your role for a gay woman of color Brie? Money is buying your ideas?I agree. This has absolutely nothing to do with men’s rights, just hating Brie Larson. I would really rather not see this show up on this sub | /r/MensRights | 08/05/19 06:05 PM
| -5 | Notch’s “bigoted and homophobic” tweets that got him banned from Minecraft’s 10th anniversary are nothing more then political opinions, whereas Cardi B drugged and raped men and is still galavanting around the world doing tours. While I disagree with a lot of what notch has said, I get the sense you aren’t defending him more so attacking cardi b correct? | /r/MensRights | 03/05/19 05:50 AM |
I hate humanity at this point. Her point makes sense, don’t trample other peoples struggles to make yours heard, but it’s also an enormous straw man | /r/MensRights | 02/05/19 05:10 AM
IKEA Netherlands has a familytoilet in the men’s restroomI thought about that for a second, I think it’s meant to be progress. Having a room where men can take children to change diapers, etc. is a positive thing | /r/MensRights | 24/04/19 12:47 AM
Unfair expectationsWhere is this data from? I’m curious if they have other metrics as well (such as age) | /r/MensRights | 18/04/19 05:05 PM
Man sues wife after he learns that the 3 children they had are not his after learning that he is infertile.I would argue that both sexes are equally capable of sexual predation, and if women start being punished equally for it we will see a notable drop in the number of female offenders. I try to stay away from blanket statements like yours because they are more divisive, which solves nothing. | /r/MensRights | 16/04/19 11:17 PM
Swedish Feminist MP Declares “We Must Assume All Men Are Rapists”Reading into the article it seems like most people are not happy about it, but it could be a biased source idk | /r/MensRights | 14/04/19 05:01 PM
"Women are not valued enough for their success"She did plenty, and good on her for that. The issue is the misleading titles making it seem like she did all/most of the work, which is simply untrue. She didn’t do anything bad, people posting about her have. | /r/MensRights | 11/04/19 04:06 PM
Woman throws boiling oil on husband. There is no law to protect men from domestic violence in India. Women have multiple laws like 498A and domestic violence act which are most oftentimes misused for extortion. That’s not the point. The point is that men’s issues get ignored routinely in laws, and women’s issues get all the attention. | /r/MensRights | 02/04/19 04:29 PM
Didn't Bill Cosby go to jail for something like this?Meh. Even if I disagree with everything someone has said previously, I can still agree with them on certain points. | /r/MensRights | 27/03/19 12:49 PM
Thought you guys might like what I had to sayYes. Everyone gets the proverbial shaft in some way. Our job here is to point out that men do in fact have some disadvantages, not to disparage the disadvantages that everyone else has. | /r/MensRights | 21/01/19 03:51 PM
Gillette is deleting dislikes off the YouTube adIt’s now on 227K likes to only 667K dislikes | /r/MensRights | 16/01/19 05:20 PM

App to combat “manterrupting”ShoeOnHead made a video about it, it’s a pretty awful app | /r/MensRights | 18/09/18 08:08 PM
This is what pure bigotry and creeping fascism look like. You would like r/menkampf . It really drives your point home | /r/MensRights | 16/07/18 02:00 AM
Buzzfeed article about how sad it is women that falsely accuse men of rape are going to prison in the UKWhy is buzzfeed actually the worst website every created | /r/MensRights | 30/06/18 05:06 AM
Boy Scouts Are Dead: How Feminism Is Destroying Young MenI actually am ok with girls being allowed in scouts, as a recent Eagle Scout and someone who has worked at summer camps with female staff, I don’t see any reason why they should not be allowed. If girls want to have the experience that Boy Scouts offers, why not let them? Also, the United States is one of few, maybe the only one, who still doesn’t allow girls into scouts. Many other countries with the program have been inclusive for years and it has worked out just fine. | /r/MensRights | 03/05/18 02:50 PM
Is Feminism the most hypocritical ideology in history?Yeah this right here sums up a lot of the problems with modern feminism. It’s not that all of them are terrible or they all have bad ideas, because they can’t all agree on what feminism is, so you get a bunch of conflicting ideologies under one label | /r/MensRights | 22/04/18 05:01 PM
