New lingo, same stupid shit as always. Just another "movement" designed to increase privilege and decrease responsibility.

Absolute bingo. The whole dog and pony show is nothing but a wild and over the top attempt at deflecting or burying the horrible truth she knows deep down... that she's low value.

Interesting. I figured it was because absolutely no one reads past the Marilynesque "you don't deserve me" quotes so she didn't bother with any more text. Really though, she's a goddam idiot no matter how you slice it. 60 guys in 2 semesters? Total cum dumpster.

Lololol. The schlubs say everything we do is bullying. You'll quickly realize it's not worth considering their opinions, and soon after that you won't acknowledge they even have them. Generally speaking, we don't pretend the delusions of every moron on Reddit to be worthy of public discourse.

I'd take that bet for any amount. Plenty of RP aware men get divorced. Knowledge of reality does not indemnify you from it.

Classic case of the blind leading the blind. She listened to advice from two other ignoramuses, got the confirmation she wanted, broke this good dude, and now suffers the natural consequences. Boohoo, violins, chickens roosting and shit, whatever.

It's fucking disgusting. I also work in the industry and don't even use the term anymore. It's become trite and useless. My agent(s) have moved on to calling us "talent" because the actual word "model" has been so bastardized.

I see no way this goes wrong lol. As all of us here know, be careful what you wish for. The quality men are going to filter out all the garbo (see what I did there) women just as easily. And, as an app that basically self selects for low value women, I can't wait for this to bite them in the ass.

As a significantly more emotional and beta dude in my youth, I never found anything but time to alleviate the pain. Ultimately, while it took a long, long time, I'm talking years of torturing myself, I got over it entirely in a matter of seconds. Like, one day, and I remember it vividly at, I was just completely over it. Trite as it sounds, just go smash as many young hotties as you can. Eventually I did and that did the trick.

Woah brother, hold on just a minute. Take a deep breath. Relax a second. You are 18 years old. I know it's tough, but please let that sink in. 18 is a goddam baby (I'm 38, just for reference). You haven't learned or experienced anything yet, and I mean that in the best way possible. I really hate to be the old man, but I can tell you this justice is nowhere sweet as you're imagining. Don't get me wrong, you are exactly right in so far as what's going to happen with them reaching out to you in desperation and it may be validating the first time or two, but it quickly becomes downright depressing.

Personally, I respect the hell out of your (and loneliness-inc, the guy below) contributions to "these" subs and have been digesting this post for the better part of the day. While I see a lot of evidence for what you're saying (and intentionally trying to avoid confirmation bias), I'll offer a slightly different perspective: Tinder, Bumble, and OLD in general are already subject to a form of survivorship bias strictly based on the self-selected individuals who opt into it. Perhaps I'm being pedantic and pessimistic, but your "n" should be "The Number of Single Women In Your Area ON TINDER" or similar. Not all single women in your area are using that cesspool. I make…

The most disheartening part, to me, was that no words, behavior, or other evidence could change his mind. He was and is delusional as a chick. Used to have a friend like this. Guy was convinced making friends with girls was the best "long term" strategy and ended up befriending swaths of them. I was adamant he was going about it the wrong way, and told him. He watched, over the course of a few months, a handful of them come after me and all get plated / ONSed. After repeating this with 5 or so of them, he straight up says to me "from now on, anytime one of my (female) friends tries to move on you, I'm straight up blowing up your spot."…

You've briefly touched on a variety of important concepts here. I'm not going to get in to my credentials and qualifications, I think I do that enough on this sub and if you care, go through my post history. The one thing I want to add for the youngsters: majoring in Econ was absolutely the best fluke I made in college. I have yet to have to say it explicitly or in those words, but said I've said it indirectly. I'm actually trying to remember the situation though can't recall exactly, but about a year ago something kept us from fucking on exactly one occasion (and in no way her fault). True enough, and I don't bullshit anyone or sugar coat it. Even with the few "shortcuts" that do exist, the work required is extensive and takes a fortitude that not everyone has. I wish it was only that bad. Without exaggerating, I've been the pinnacle manifestation of TRP for years. Long enough that I don't even bother offering advice anymore, I just constantly get hit up for it on everything from diet and lifting to bitches and career. 90+% of the time, even when it's solicited from me, it falls on completely deaf ears. Directly to your questions: The biggest lie I was told essentially boiled down to "just be yourself and you'll eventually find the one". Many other belief systems crumble when one acknowledges that reality. The sexual marketplace is lingo for wherever men and women meet to potentially mate / date. Could be a physical location or online, basically just wherever they interact.

Cool, you seem open minded enough to understand where the perspective comes from and is grounded in regardless of whether you buy into every concept in its entirety. I fully appreciate both points in your last sentence. Not having an agenda will make it easier to form your own informed opinion when you have the information. Your comment is a little baity / trolly, but I'll assume you're genuinely curious and indulge it. From this sub's perspective, blue-pilled basically means still buying into a false narrative. Consider me a middle-of-the-roader round these parts. There is a lot of angst in here, no doubt, but the theory is heavily grounded in evolutionary psychology, biology, and behavioral economics. Take everything with a grain of salt but give it cognizant thought. There is more truth here than I originally expected.
/r/TheRedPill24/10/17 03:13 AM

This seems to assume maturity and "bromancing" (which I'm not exactly sure how to define, but I'm inferring from use) are mutually exclusive. I suppose it's even possible that from a strictly theoretical TRP perspective explicit transactional relationships are all one should participate in, but that sounds pretty extreme and I can definitely do both from time to time or depending on the situation.
/r/TheRedPill17/10/17 03:35 PM

Spot on. And not exactly shocking. Tinder may execute its strategy a bit differently (from other matching platforms, specifically) and even seem edgy or unique, but it's still owned by a narrative pushing conglomerate that has its own vested interests. They don't actually give a shit about the user experience beyond keeping them engaged, but they have to signal that virtue.
/r/TheRedPill05/10/17 10:41 AM

Can confirm all details in this FR. It's really quite fascinating to watch someone else knowledgeable specifically in TRP theory operate. To at least some extent, it should (and did) function on a PUA level.

Jesus, if someone had bet me I'd even tangentially defend the feminine imperative (don't worry, I still think females are, for the most part, bonkers) when I woke up this afternoon, I'd have lost a lot of money. There isn't a single knowledgeable RP or GTOW man who is trying to change the nature of women. It is, always has been, and always will be the same. The new VP of Diversity already provided a laughable response. In almost the same breath, they assert "I’m not going to link to it (the manifesto) here as it’s not a viewpoint that I or this company endorses, promotes or encourages" before concluding with "I look forward to continuing to hear your thoughts as I settle in and meet with Googlers across the company." The solipsism and hypocrisy is unmitigated. Shocker, this VP is named "Danielle".

I'm not the OP, but I'm willing to have a civil dialogue about your comment and perspective if you'd like. There is a lot to unpack in your comment and my time is valuable so I don't want to do it if you don't really give a shit, but I'm up for a discussion if you are.

Let's make it even easier: don't qualify your statements (or thoughts, observations, perspectives, advice, etc). If you know what you're talking about, you don't need to qualify it. If you don't, you shouldn't be talking about it.

I'm not arguing. You posed a situation only an idiot would put themselves in. If I believed you to be of open mind, I'd consider engaging in discourse about it but it's not worth my time and cognitive energy to breakdown and explain your nonsense.

Totally understand the dilemma. Didn't do much research and consider myself lucky not to have any firsthand experience, but from a value / quality of life perspective it could be resources well invested.

To expand one point that may not be clear: the reason each gender peaks at different average times is because the marketplace is based on valuation from the other genders' perspective. Because men value physical attractiveness both more than women do AND more than any other characteristic, any decline in this (even very slight) is incredibly hard for a female to overcome. On the other hand, women value physical attractiveness but not nearly to the degree men do, which means they can compensate a…

Just keep in mind each gender's end game isn't necessarily the same. The land whales may be getting low SMV dick, but they want high SMV commitment. Granted, I'd say even the low value dick they're getting is better than they actually deserve.

College professor here. Majored in Econ, Poli Sci, and Business Admin (at least at the time, all could be jammed into 4 years and under the graduation credit requirement) and now teach in the SBA at a large US university. I have literally NEVER regretted going the Econ path. You'll use those skills and thought processes every single day, consciously or not. Poli Sci and BA were nothing but supplemental and I'm glad I have the degrees, but they're strictly a positive externality to what I focused…

This might actually be a useful strategy in a repeated, iterated, or other specialized / theoretical scenario. But there are a lot of other factors necessary to account for and quantify, many of which seemingly make practical implementation prohibitively difficult. In fact, I'd contend the silent battle we face is a manifestation of this realization.

If they're smart, they push their LTR to accept hard mode. If the guy isn't willing to commit long term, she'll branch swing earlier than up against the wall (again, this is aassuming she's intelligent RPer). But given the opportunity, guys definitely do.

/u/Redpillthriller nailed it. Think of behavior as a continuum or mixed strategy and find the optimal balance. When first learning the theory of anything, we learn in absolutes. When we go to apply theory, we implement, observe, and refine.
