I see this quarter life crisis word thrown a lot. What does that even me to you and what makes it real? Crisis of what

Sex drive is controlled mainly by Testosterone, which women synthesize at way lower quantities than men (factor of 20). I don’t see why you’re debating which of the two genders has a higher drive in the first place.

I only asked to get different views and strike a conversation, not really some ‘pliz Reddit how do I deal with this’ type of question. You can call it bullshit and believe what you want at the end (that’s how some people cope with inconvenience). But there’s no too extreme definition or none of that, unlikely this or that. Don’t tell me that hypergamy will stop just because you’re doing everything right. A better available option means your turn is done, it’s either you accept it or never will. …

The occurrence of a better option is not as important as that option being available to her specifically. My view is that if you were good enough at one point for a girl to get with and you keep improving from that point onwards, she's unlikely to leave you for someone better. Let me rephrase it for you. No they're not unlikely to ditch you if you have these attributes, what becomes unlikely is the occurence of a better option available to her specifically. she's unlikely to leave you for some…

Between these two extremes there's the 'average' woman. Who, in my view,is not going to ditch their LTR for someone who is 5-10% 'better'. Yes you can view it this way, but even your average woman will leave you when a good enough opportunity shows interest. The fact she won't leave you for someone 5% better (whatever that means) only says that the new option is not good enough given the cost of leaving her current relationship, but what you can be sure of, is that it will happen once a -good en…

What I mean is, if the reality where you’re the best available option changes (note that this doesn’t necessarily mean something in you changed, but simply that there are now new figures involved, and that compared to these new figures, the image she has of you is suddenly not the same); so in this new circumstances your turn automatically is over.

It is not really painful, because at the end of the day you always have the choice of whether or not you invest your resources on someone from the beginning. I’m just trying to understand what the reasoning behind this decision is for people who make it

That’s beautiful and everything that you don’t care, but it’s missing the point of my question. Let me make it simple, question is how do you justify to yourself investing your time/resources on someone (aka being in a relationship), when you know for a fact that once a better option presents itself your turn is over.

How do you cope with the reality of hypergamy, i.e the fact that the only reason she is with you is because you’e the best available option to her, and that once you’re not the best option anymore your turn is over? I’m not looking for answers like be the best option, lift.. and all that, but I’m more interested in understanding how you guys deal with this reality.

this is the reality Maybe it is maybe it is not, what you are doing is using a highly biased sample (like the adultery sub) to assess what reality looks like, you're falling in the faulty generalisation bias. Other than that you make a good point, being in a constant state of abundance and constant improving is what TRP is about. If a woman perceives you as low value she wouldn't hesitate to go out "help the homeless". Blaming women for that is counterproductive because it's what their nature is…

I wouldn't, if the guy is in your social circle, you'd have some leverage on him and you don't know that will maybe pay back one day. Focus on yourself and leave all this shit behind you, her loss bro. Also you'll maybe regret telling her after it does nothing to their relationship (which is what you're looking for by telling her), you'll only come out as the drama and reverge seeking guy, which doesn't help you in any way

Also stfu at work if you can’t fully trust them. Don’t go spewing shit like age gap or politics. Trust them or not, it's still high risk low reward, and you don't want that kind of deals

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
