However, it is interesting to consider in light of the the differential treatment men recieve in court, which is a mens rights issue. On one hand it could seem shallow and animalistic. However, on the other hand, good looks are a proxy for fertility and health. A strong emphasis can be taking responsibility for the important goal of robust genetic immunity to the risk of disease and environmental stress which offspring will face.
