2	Thoughts on circumcision: Well as long as you were on the birth certificate, they had no legal reason to not include you. My guess is just that the nurse didn't know and/or hadn't seen the birth certificate, so you saying that you are the dad with your wife asleep was not enough proof. 4	Thoughts on circumcision: My mom works in labor and delivery and at her hospital they have the mother sign most things because "mother's baby, father's maybe." If they let someone make a decision for the baby that is not a parent, the hospital would be open to a lawsuit. If your name was on the birth certificate, then I think you should have been included in the paper work, but if the nurse wasn't sure of who you were, then the mother is the only one she would want to get a signature from.	/r/MensRights	17/10/12 01:09 AM

1	Should birth control be covered by Medicare? My mother is a labor and delivery nurse, and her patients never use the free bc because they get money for the children. Furthermore, they all have stds so no one is using condoms either, even though condoms are very easy to get for free. People are going to have sex no matter what. I think it is better to pay to prevent children than to pay for every resulting child from lack of protection. Once men have medical contraceptives available, I think those should be covered as well. 5	Why does an expectant father get no say in an abortion? Especially if he is willing to take on the full responsibility of the child? There are a fuck ton of things that can go wrong with a pregnancy; it is not necessarily moderate discomfort, especially the whole birthing process. You can't force someone into that.
