Cheers for the write up OP. I know other users are flinging shit at you, but life isn't perfect and sometimes we all fuck up. The choosing the venue part is so crucial. I met with a girl the other night and she chose the venue and I felt like a fish on a line the entire time. Complete idiot, just wasn't thinking and didn't take control of the conversation beforehand. She asked me out somewhere and my mind just went vagina!

Hahaha definitely advice to consider

Thanks for the input. I definitely considered it, but thought it would just make it relevant to this sub.

To me? 5-10. That would be for a long term partner though. For a one night stand? Who cares. Thrash the car, blow the tires out

Up to the woman. Some could argue that men will value relationships less after being in so many. Could possible not be as interested in average sex when there's a long list to compare it to.

I actually drive a former rental car and it drives like a dream. This analogy came to me because of it...somehow haha

On some days, I can totally relate. It can be tough, and at least you're setting standards for yourself. I imagine you'd be able to court a landwhale or two if it wasn't for self esteem? I decided to not prioritise flashing my plumage to women and focus on inner contentment. It's a lot more consistent that way.

As sir_distic said (side note - awesome user name), I would state that you have a difference of opinion on the matter. One of my good Mates at work leans heavily left politically where as I lean right. We both have a mutual understanding that we'll hold different perspectives on certain topics, but we generally avoid those conversations or have an open forum for discussion. Sounds like your friend is a bit of a dick to be honest

I practiced, and as dumb as this is going to sound, by approaching and getting rejected on dating sites first. You being a lifeguard means you can literally point out what's happening with the tides, rips, that sort of stuff. Plenty of ways to start conversation and get a feel of if she's interested or not. The main thing is to not give a shit. Have you got any fellow lifeguards as wingmen?

When you have one plate and then set up another Its basically when you're at the stage where there is no self doubt and you're SMV is high enough for the women you want to attain

Usually I'd go with a group event on Facebook to garner interest. Either that or a bulk message. What are some of your mutual interests? A few casual drinks at a bar usually works. My housemate and I usually invite a couple people over with a plate of snacks and talk shit. Hell, if there's four people, even a videogame like Fifa four players is a good way to break down barriers

25 here. Got tired of it a couple years ago, occasionally go out to test the waters. Latching onto my past joys if I'm being honest. Its the same old shit. Makes you feel like shit. Waste of money. Prefer working on side projects/hiking/hanging out in other environments.

The way things are going, I appear to be leaning towards a MGTOW lifestyle. At least for now. I always got questioned about why I pursued personal interests/side projects rather than chasing tail. Never knew there was a term for it until TRP haha

Nice work, that's awesome! Keep it up, impressive that you quit both gaming and Netflix simultaneously. What have you been doing to substitute the time?

This is a concern of mine. It's why I'd prefer to not establish a LTR until the principles and foundations of a RP lifestyle are set. So many horror stories, within this sub and within my circle of friends.

I should've clarified. She loves shit testing me. I don't know what it is, but it's a constant stream. She'll usually initiate with some off the cuff remark. I'm finding it's good practice for different methods (escalate, diffuse etc.) I usually end up ignoring her (diffusing), or finding common ground so I can focus on work (the law about practising the surrender tactic) 100% agree that starting the debates is pointless. At first when I was unplugged I would try sway people, but ultimately it i…

Spot on about people hating you for it. There was a comment in another sub that said men and women will try and bring you down. Unfortunately I think it's true. The old saying "misery loves company" comes to mind.

And that's what made me laugh. Is that looking for the facts made me an MRA. I didn't respond after that and left it be. There was no point getting into a vortex of shit tests. She's entitled to her opinion

The fact that you're happy and satisfied with life is awesome! It shows that it isn't dependent on someone else (i.e., a woman in this case). Have you found the momentum is becoming perpetual?

I agree, the flip side of the coin is that some of the concepts do clash head on with what is being portrayed in the media and elsewhere. It's not about so much having it as a "secret club", but as razgrim said, it would be diluted with a significant increase in popularity. Hate for everything to be misconstrued as "I'm RedPill bruh, I believe in it to smash puss brah". Side note, I mentioned to a girl at work (who states she's a feminist) that the wage gap was inflated, and that I thought she s…

The first part was outlining the negative effects porn has on your mind, and the other two parts talk about how regulating masturbating can increase your drive, as well as a bunch of other stuff. Essentially, it's like, if you usually would want to get laid on a Saturday, then you'd only rub one out then, or like Wednesday too if you find your getting insta-boners at every turn. 100% agree that if you start preferring staying in to going out that it's problematic. I even avoid porn now because t…

I think adding the Alpha/Beta thing was pretty unnecessary come to think of it. And I agree with TRP concept of becoming your best self. When I look into it all, that seems to be the key message above all else. The reason I posed the question is a lot of my mates find it weird that I don't actively go out and pursue. In reflection, while they have pretty fun lifestyles and a story to tell, I find contentment in self-improvement and the investment into an easier lifestyle in the future. Essential…
