Most people back then likely didn't even know how to make fire. They kept some alive at all times and borrowed if it went out. Furthermore, natural selection is slow and I can't phantom how mutations for building boats and campfires would catch on in such a short time. Sociology doesn't exactly have a good reputation btw.

It is very illegal to not pay child support. People DO go to jail for it. So far I have not seen ANY case where a noncustodial parent has been resolved of financial duties. So yes, the sky is blue. I've seen it. However, I've not either seen or heard of what you will have me believe is so common.

I was pointing out a double standard: That it's socially acceptable to tell men not to have sex to avoid pregnancies, but not women. I think it works somewhat similar to how my university (top engineering and science uni in Norway) gives two extra entry points to women (ten points is a grade). It's blatant, institutionalized sexism, but it only affects men who would barely get in before. They're basically accepting those with good grades (no matter the gender) and favouring worse women over bad men.

I think the whole issue boils down to what society values the most; the child, the mother or the father? As it stands now it seems to be: Mother > Child > Father, since women can abort or abandon the child, whilst the father has no options. I would like to see it be Mother = Father > Child, since I don't believe humans are inherently valuable, and it's fairly easy to consummate. This would be the case with legal parental surrender.

I watch a lot of their videos, and while MOST of them are based on logic and rationality, some are not. The reasons is that they START with an opinion (religious, political, societal etc) and then finds evidence FOR that opinion while mostly neglecting evidence against. It's far from the scientific methods and you should take everything they say with a grain of salt (even though what they say seems to be logical).

Universities in the united states seems to be more of a business than a government funded program. Thus we can't outright ban women's studies, but we should immediately cut all tax funding of it. The universities that teach it should be publically mocked and the enrolling students should be advised not to bankrupt themselves.
