Women still depend on men collectively, but they don't need to rely on any individual man anymoreYou are not being fair. As we can learn caregiving they can learn to plumb. They can train and get fit for firefighting. I know that in wouldn’t be that easy but if push comes to shove humans excel especially if they have a purpose. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 09/07/21 10:08 AM
Women still depend on men collectively, but they don't need to rely on any individual man anymoreYes, i know. But i think it’s not really sensitivity. It’s more like resentment. They feel ignored, like no one cares about them + the high expectations crush them. being resentful isn’t good for them. Like i said in the other comment. Women actually have to work. Well… problem is… Patti Stanger a businesswomen wrote: “A lot of feminine-looking women and women in general have assumed the role of a man, and it’s driving the real men away. We are talking about women who have lost sight of, or lost… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 09/07/21 10:04 AM
Women still depend on men collectively, but they don't need to rely on any individual man anymoreI wouldn’t blame him for the complexity of the issue. Women have the opportunity to make themselves financially independent. This is historically a new thing and we are still learning. As far as I am concerned the problem is that the role of women changed but not of men. Women don’t rely on men. And men’s purpose was until now being reliable. Maybe this explains the lack of purpose of young men from today. Its like they are thirsty for purpose. No wonder men kill themselves more often. But what … | /r/PurplePillDebate | 09/07/21 09:47 AM
Women still depend on men collectively, but they don't need to rely on any individual man anymoreWomen not working in those fields has like everything else in this world countless reasons. Thats the hole point of empirical research. You look for the key variables and use statistics as a tool to find principles/laws (input-output). Scandinavian countries are the front runners of egalitarianism. But even there women choose professions concerning people and men choose professions concerning things. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 09/07/21 09:18 AM
Women still depend on men collectively, but they don't need to rely on any individual man anymoreYou mean all men as a group produce more (valuable) in those fields? I see, i see. I mean, yeah. That’s a statistical fact. You would have more successful men as programmers as women. After all, there are more men working in those fields. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 09/07/21 08:57 AM
Women still depend on men collectively, but they don't need to rely on any individual man anymoreI see, i get your point. And your “broader” point is then: “Society relies on men concerning its most basic systems — bedrock.” I agree with that. Mens work is survival work. But as far as I can tell, women chose fields that help cultivate the society (nurture). They make it more liveable. So womens work is enriching work. (Psychology, Nursing, teaching, social work,…) I wouldn’t underestimate neither of them. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 09/07/21 08:53 AM
Women still depend on men collectively, but they don't need to rely on any individual man anymoreI see. I thought, you claimed that men can do anything and women only caregiving stuff. Isn’t that what you meant with your second sentence?! Isn’t that overestimating men’s abilities in teaching, nursing, etc.? I still don’t get your point. Or maybe you mean something like “Men are worse in those fields women are good in, but they are good enough to make it run somehow, but women are not good enough to make the things work men typically do?” Did I get it right? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 09/07/21 08:38 AM
Women still depend on men collectively, but they don't need to rely on any individual man anymoreWhat do you mean exactly? Like if we had suddenly no tech. and we had to live in a primitive manner as hunter and gatherers? From that perspective, i guess men would have a higher surviving rate, if everyone cared for themselves and didn’t help each other. But what is the point again? In the past, there was the family and everyone was looking out for each other. There was no police, no protective (social) state (at least not as successful as today). Now the concept of a family is less important … | /r/PurplePillDebate | 09/07/21 08:29 AM
Women still depend on men collectively, but they don't need to rely on any individual man anymoreYou are underestimating women. Or let me rephrase it: You are overestimating men. Or both. As much as I know, men are in generell more interested in things, women in people. What influences carrier-choice isn’t intelligence or work ethic, it is the individual interest. But what predicts success is intelligence and conscientiousness and those things are distributed equally among men and women. So, a women can be as good as a man in a field concerning things, but most of them are not interested in… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 09/07/21 08:04 AM
Women still depend on men collectively, but they don't need to rely on any individual man anymoreEverything concerning health, caregiving and teaching would collapse i guess | /r/PurplePillDebate | 09/07/21 07:47 AM
