Pretty much the beginning of the decline of my marriage was lack of intimacy. It’s hard when nothing is reciprocated. In hindsight, like many others responding here, it feels like maybe that was used as an out.

Reading these comments makes me realise that the feelings I harboured (and still do to a point) exist in other men. It’s perversely comforting. I just started working tirelessly on myself. Exercise, diet, trying to be mindful and enjoying the little moments of joy that still do occur every day. Sorry to hear this, my friend. You have your priorities in the right place and just got dealt a shit hand in this situation. Do u have decent support networks in place? I really think you need to be talking to someone. Reach out to those around you. Talk to them. These strong feelings you have are normal, but it’s concerning that you consider ending your life. You have 2 little people that are worth fighting for. One day at a time my man. Keep moving forward.
