That probably depends on the country or area. Some do, some do not. If in a certain place 60% of children are born out of wedlock and raised by single mothers, this probably points to a cultural thing rather than the genuine lack of better options.

Whereas most men would be interested in a woman who is attractive based on her attractiveness alone. Here's your answer.

The problem is that the "nice" personality in the modern dating world refers to men's traits that have little to do with good human qualities that one can actually work on. If you are a kind but average-looking introvert naturally prone to anxiety, can only be funny with people you know and need time to get comfortable around strangers, you are probably at a slight disadvantage compared to a charismatic serial murderer.

If the last part were true, equally attractive/likeable men and women would be getting a similar amount of matches on dating apps. But we all know how far it is from reality.

My Buddhist meditation group has a Thursday night discussion, and more often than not it eventually moves to the topic of dating. It's not about not having those things, it's about not centering your happiness around them.

Yep, and also less slightly autistic normies, less "too nice" guys who won't hurt anyone but more charming psychopaths and obnoxious fuckboys. So it all averages out at best.

Not at all. I fully respect the right of any people of any gender to associate with whomever they want, assuming it is consensual. Just pointing out the fact that your hopes about the next generation of men being "better" by any metric might not come true.

With a fair playing field, natural selection is allowed to take course, and the next generation of men can be better. I think you're making an assumption that the majority of women prefer to associate with nice/honest/non-aggressive men. The reality is that a criminal record on Hinge will bring you more matches than a photo with an innocent smile.

I think you're hanging out with the wrong types of men.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
