2	Fear of intimacy and relationships It's a gradual road my friend. 'Haha' suffices most of the time otherwise the intent/feeling should be obvious enough. 2	Jumpstarting with solo travel? I say yes, and stay in backpackers/hostels otherwise it's too easy not to socialise. It's super easy to spark up conversation here too ("where are you from"). You may not have time or money to go somewhere different but for me going to Japan and South America made me a much less awkward person. 1	Tinder and general openers I usually make some remark to do with a profile pic, i.e. are you as good at____ as you look? is that really ____? or you could try a variant of an opinion opener (i.e. girlfriend), I saw that work once. 3	Can we do a date idea megathread? Recently I started a date out with a game of tennis, and the loser had to buy drinks at a bar afterwards. Won't be right for every girl (esp if they love to make-up) but in this case it worked well and went home with her.
