I've installed an extension (focusblocker) which limits the time I can spend on time-wasting web pages. I've set it for ten minutes every hour. Those people will use Google, which returns results about the film, about the subreddit (several of which are newsish stories which misidentified it as MRA-related), and one Wikipedia link about The Matrix. That's your personalized google result, based on your profile. Other people will get other results, probably fewer reddit-related if they haven't used the site.

Not really. You're vastly overestimating how much of the population is so much into reddit that they know r/TheRedPill. 99.9% of people aren't going to have heard of it, and a good part of the rest probably also know the men's rights movement.

It's just a slur aimed at unattractive or otherwise "unworthy" men. Not always. Some people are actually creepy. As a test, if you imagined Brad Pitt or some other really attractive man doing the behaviour, and you're still repulsed then it's legitimately 'creepy'.
