2	Student's career ruined because he reminded rape victim of attacker Not if you are in Australia. No kidding, there are as many law students as there are lawyers. So every 3 years in Australia, we could replace every lawyer. On a side point, for every case you run like this, there are 100 that you have to tell your client not to be stupid. 1	Girl "accidentally" shoots boyfriend in head. Tries to stage it as a suicide. Later confesses to holding gun to his head and pulling the trigger, but "didn't know it was loaded" so she's only being charged with manslaughter. I have no words. The logic is I pull the bullets out, therefore it is safe is a reasonable but of course is obviously flawed. It's kind of down to the culture, I could see a person getting off like this in Australia, while we aren't as easy going with guns, we aren't used to them. I know rule 1 of a gun us don't point it at anything you don't intend to shoot but I've never handled a gun so I could accidentally shoot someone. Even then I know you need to remove the round from the chamber to make sure it isn't loaded. But if you have have the right to bear arms, you also have the responsibility to use them properly.	/r/MensRights	28/01/15 08:12 PM
